Dr. Whitlock drove up 5 minutes later his green camry making steam in the cool crisp morning air. Parking the car he climped out before closing the door and approaching the side door he always entered through smiling , he had a few hours before his first appointment and maybe he could bring out the animals and maybe if he was lucky get one adopted. He walked in through the door before taking off his coat and walking down the hall.

Hearing the side door close, Ashley smiled. "Morning!" she called from the main desk where she ws sitting, scribbling something in her book, before letting it fall closed. Getting up from the comfy computer chair, she grabbed her coffee, heading to the waiting area, fixing the magazines and Avantage information pamplets. Taking a sip of the warm liquid, the woman sat down on one of the chairs, looking towards the hall.

Norm- he heard the call smiling as he recognized Dr. Smith's voice, "Hello" he called before hanging up his coat and walking into the waiting room behind her and watching her set up the magazines and pamplets, "Shouldn't we be getting more of thise soon?" he asked pointing to the Advantage pamplets

"Nah. We have two new packs of them in the Pharmacy." Ashley replied, getting up from the chair and tossing her coffee cup into the garbage. "So, anything new?" she asked Norm, shuffling some papers behind the desk, making sure the top one was Ducky's sheet, the first appointment.

Norm- he shook his head, "No" he smiled as if at a personal joke and added, "Just thinking of how to adopt out the current animals or adopt them myself" he said playiong off his reputation of taking in the animals that were up for adoption. then he walked over, "Any appointments for me?" he asked

Looking up at Norm as he walked over, Ashley shook her head. "Don't you have enough animals? You've adopted at least three pets from here. Hoarder." she teased, before looking down at the sheets. "Yeap. You have the 11:00 'o clock Euth of Duke. But I'll help, that's a job for both of us. Uh, you have Chase, a Canine coming in for a check-up, something about wheezing. You can help me with Jewel too." she replied, looking back up the Vet.

Norm- he nodded, "I am," then he listened and then shook his head when he heard Duke, "He is a handful" he said before picking up the sheet scanning it over

{It's okay. I was just wondering if you knew what 'Euth' meant. c: It means to put down an animal. Just wondering.}

Ashley smirked, before raising her eyebrows. "Yeah, well the owners want him put down now. He got hit by a car, and they sent him to a specialist after I did everything I could. Apparently, Duke can't walk at all, and is also on Death's Door, poor boy. I'll miss that goof." she sighed. Glancing at her watch, she still had a good fifty minutes to spare.

(whoopsie, I mixed up that with vaccine, I do know what Euth is, I had to do it to one of my horses)

Norm- he nodded his face sad as he remembered how spirited the dog used to be, "i guess it is the kindest thing to do" he said before going into a brooding silence, he hated this part of his job, although he knew it was the kindest thing to do he hated to see the owners face

Ashley nodded. "It is. It's hard, but it's for the best." she said, coming around and patting Norm on the back.. "We'll do it together. We all loved Duke for sure." she assured him.
