Dapplestar: She couldn't hear a thing, not a crack of a twig, a snap of a bramble or a cat breathing. She didn't dare look behind her, after all she dosen't want to ruin her apprentice's time.

Suddenly, Lyra stopped prowling and stood still, slowly crouching to the ground as she started to bunch her muscles up for a pounce. As soon as her paws were off the ground, she unsheathed her claws, her fiery little body flying through the air and coming down on her mentor's tail.

Dapplestar: By instict (( OOC is that how you spell it?? )) she lep around sezing her apponent (( OOC sezing?? )) to the forest floor, but with her top lip above her teeth, amd claws shelthed, Lyra felt no pain. "Good job" Dapplestar licked her ear, jumping off her. "Now, we shall practice more battle tactics" Dapplestar smiled, hoping her words confused the apprentice.

Lyra yelped in surprise as she was pinned to the ground, her back hitting the dirt with a blunt thud that barely even hurt. Lyra sheepishly smiled, a little shaky from the sudden move. "O-okay! What do you mean by battle tactics?" She mewed, turning onto her side to get up.

Dapplestar: This is what she wanted, "Well lets try somthing - since your so small - and I'm so well - Lets try Urm" She paused for a moment, "Pin me down, by jimping as hard as you can onto my back, get your claws on my neck - DON'T FOREGET TO SHELTHE YOUR CLAWS!!!" Dapplestar yelled running under a large tree.

Lyra grimaced at the thought of trying to pin a cat 5 times bigger than her, he soft, orange ears lowering as doubt started to mingle with her mind. "Ok, Dapplestar.." She timidly replied, lifting a little paw off the ground to watch her claws unsheathe then retract, frowning at the puny things.

Dapplestar: She watched in wonder, almost as if she was Lyra, after all she was the smallest kit in her litter. "Good luck, Lyra" She said under her breath.

Lyra timidly nodded as she set her paw back to the ground, a worrisome look on her face as she watched her mentor dart for a tree. "I'll try.." She whispered, waiting acouple minutes untill she started to pad towards her mentor, her dark blue eyes scanning the tree.

Dapplestar: She waited, nervosly under a tree, to be honest she knew the power the young cat could throw in - if she tried. "C'mon Lyra you can do it" Dapplestar said under her breath.

Lyra sighed in misery, hating to be subjected to this embarrassing act. How could she possibly tackle the leader of her clan? She was way too small, and very scared when it came to cats bigger than her. Her deep blue eyes glanced at her mentor as she carefully padded behind her, a weak smile on her face as she crouched down. She trusted her mentor, though. If her mentor believed in her, then she would do it.
