Snowsplash went around and took Cocoa out into the meadow, "trust me Cocoa," she said, "if she jsut had a baby, stay away from both of them, they'll be mean."

Colton smilied happily at Bella.

Bella nickered low to Colton it was approaching morning she was exchausted. As she lay thinking she vaguely rembered sounds of another mare having a foal at the same time. "Strange" she thought, " hers took twice as long as mine" she said to herself "the mare must of had twins" with that she fell asleep.

"How would they be mean?" Cocoa asked. "They looked nice!"

Melody payed no attention to Grace and followed Cocoa and Snowsplash, eager to make a new friend. " Hiya!" She whinnied in a voice like bells tinkling.

Grace rolled her eyes and smiled at Melody's playful antics. She was worried however, but trusted Snowsplash to bring her home safely.

"Go play cocoa, we'll talk later," snowsplash whinnied to her son nd smilied at Melody.

Colton nickered lowly to Bella, "I'm gonna go check on Jack and Grace, she was due today too."

Melody grinned back and reared,playfully kicking out at Cocoa and racing off, as if challenging him.

Grace kept her ears pricked towards Cocoa and Melody, anxious but glad that her daughter was making new friends already.

"Alright "Bella replied the colt curled up closer to her and she felt his warm body. " That's who I must of heard" she thought. She watched Colton wander off and shivered though she new she would be safe.

Cocoa gave a small half rear and took off after her, his long legs tearing up the ground. Melody was really fast, and he had to push himself to catch up after her head start.

Melody raced around the stump and bucked at Cocoa playfully. " Catch me if you can!" She whinnied and raced off again, laving Cocoa in the dust.

Grace swiveled her head towards the forest, where she heard another horse approaching. (( Colton))

Colton ran up towards Grace, slowing as he got closer. "How are you?" he asked her.

Snowsplash laughed as the two foals played.
