Oak

Oak was in the center of the croud, the sounds of his pack-mates voices filling his ears. He looked around him, watching the other wolves, looking for some one to talk to.

((Glad it all got sorted out))

Rikaru nodded "Once saw a pack of wolves take down a Bison up north, while going for the kill a bison came behind them and tackled half of them away. Their Alpha didn't seem to care, it's why I didn't join a pack until I got here. Even joining here was more because I didn't want to stand by and let something bad happen to the pack. Seems to be the best things I've ever done." His mind was still on that other pack.

Lev looked at the brute she mentioned, "I saw him earlier, not really sure who he is. I did over hear someone call him adon-something or other. Must be important if he's standing beside Nyte, new beta male perhaps or and advisor?"

Nyte

"ATTENTION PACK!" Nyte roared into the assembled wolves. When the clamour had died down some, she began again, "As it is now winter, the pack needs more food. Large food. Elk. Only the entire pack can bring down an adult elk, and that is why I call you all here today. We are going to get an elk. This young male over here," she jerked her head to Andonis, "Isn't an advisor, delta, beta, or even just a hunter. This is Andonis, the alpha male. You are to obey him as you obey me. It might just save your life."

Break blinked, tilting his head to hear the alpha fae. Had she just said what he thinks she said? He stiffled a laugh. That scrawny thing was his alpha? Rolling his eyes, Break decided to keep his thoughts to himself. It didn't seem like Nyte was very fond of the brute, actually. It seemed more like a political move than anything. He was sure Nyte had her reasons.

Huffing, the black-furred brute waited for the pack to get moving. He didn't quite understand why it took at least 7 large, full grown, strong wolves to take down one measly little antelope. Perhaps they could get by with one skilled hunter, or two partnered up, wolves to get one of them, but 7 and only expect to get one elk? It seemed unreasonable that they had such low expectations.
