Leana humphed and sat up, licking a paw and flicking it over her ear to get off the dirt. She laughed softly and smiled. "You're too easy to trick."

The pup smiles at her, then without any warning darts off to the trees yelling, "Catch me if you can!" With his light grey tail flopping behind his legs, he told them to skid to a stop so he could run the other way, making a turn.

Leana shot up, looking confused an panicked until she realized it was nothing. "No fair!" she howled, trying to make her shorter legs go faster to make up for the disadvantage. "You got a head start!" Leana whined as she stopped sharply, turning around to follow him again.

Civeal smiles and starts to slow down, now doing an immature slow motion jog. "Only five more seconds!" he exclaims in a deep voice that is broken down so his voice matches his slow motion actions. Three.... He counts down in his head. Two.... The pup continues to count down, not yet reaching zero.

Leana laughed at him, his voice reminding her of one of those old wolves who told scary stories at night. She barked sharply and streached her legs out infront of her lengthening her stride just enough so she poked him in the side right before the voice in her head got to one.
