Fryte would not leave. He would not give in to anyone. He did not loose the battle of wills. He shook himself, and sat, yawning.

Fryte looked at her calmly. He held himself as an alpha would, and flicked his ears. "Just a little company." He grinned coolly, waving his tail. He stood a moment longer, and disappeared without another word.

Briar

Briar followed the scent of the kill all the way to it. She slowed down when she got close, and stalked into the open. There was a half eaten elk laying there, with a silver and gray she-wolf with what looked like multicolored eyes laying next to it. Briar walked over until she was a few feet away, head low with her teeth bared. Her long black claws were digging into the soft earth. By the looks of it she was bigger than the other wolf, but she knew size didn't matter. "Why are you stealing prey from my pack and their territory?" She snarled, but tried to stay calm for her own sake.

It had been awhile since she had killed the elderly buck, but it's bloody scent still wafted through her nostrils, seeping into the grass beneath her, and swirling in air currents, making her jowls water once more. She had eaten all of the good meat off of the buck, but during these times, she was positive there would be wolves that would fight over the bare remains even now. She sighed, and lifted her leg to scratch behind her left ear, scratching away a few left over fleas. She had been unable to locate a deep enough stream to bathe herself in, and get the mud and twigs out for now. She snarled slightly, licking her chops at the smell of a juicy rabbit that she could vaguely hear forage around only a few feet away. She would be stupid to not go after it, but she was too weary, for the past few days had been nothing but traveling. She sighed once more, and lifted her nose to the air and let the other scents envelop her senses. She smelt a load of small grazers, such as rabbits and mice, but she also picked up the scent of a few other wolves, some seemed lone, while others part of a pack. She lowered her muzzle again, and sat on her haunches, sinking down from there, to where her head rested on her paws. She awaited whatever was to come, see as it was a new wolf, or another thing she could kill. Her half blue and brown eyes wandered listlessly around, her grey fur lifting and waving in the wind slightly.

She was rather surprised by the unexpected appearance of the new fae, and even more surprised at the way she asserted herself. She stood up, and shook out her soft coat, the multiple shades of grey and white blended well together to make her look well rounded. She took a few seconds to glance from her kill back to the other fae, and with a smug look, she shook out her coat one more, licking her muzzle, her sharp white canines piercingly sharp. She had had much time to define her jaws to a healthy state. As she observed the fae for another few moments, she sighed deeply, and her half brown half blue eyes store into her, until she blinked and resumed a normal state. Clearing her throat, she took on a monotone voice. "Well, wolf-of-name-I-don't-know, I had a hunger, and I had failed to eat in at least a weeks time. I reserve my strength, and often go hungry, due to the lessening resources that bounce across this land of ours. But rather than satisfy my insatiable hunger, I let your packs dwindle it farther and farther down, with your growing populations and hunger. Today, I just merely decided to kill and elderly buck and partially satisfy my hunger. Is that so unpleasant?" she finished, her mesmerizing eyes gazing upon her questioningly, almost as if she already knew the answer. The she-wolf was quite clever, seeing as she had had years to get that way. Being alone for so long was lonely, but it paid off.
