Kikki nudged Loki and Kuma, "Let's go to that hot-dog stand. The owner just left, and no one's around. It has been awfully quite here in Times Square..." she pointed with her muzzle towards an old-looking hot-dog stand with the words, "HOT-DOGGITY" on the front. The wafting smell of meat made her mouth water and belly gurgle. [Yaz. Huge case of WB today, I guess...]

Lakota smirked. "Alright." she replied mischievously. Her tail was slowly wagging as she looked at Kuma.

Kikki trotted over to the stand. She licked her jowls and leaped up on it. She nosed through some of the grease pans--for french fries--and bun wrappers. She wolfed down one roll of bread, and pulled out one of the hot-dog rolls. Each one connected, and she made sure she took it out carefully so it wouldn't break.
It dragged away from the stand, and then she came back or some mustard. Kikki put her paw on the yellow tube, placing her mouth around the tip and pushing on the back. Thick, yellow cream spewed out of the tube and into her mouth, and she lapped it up like water. The white shepherd nosed the red tube to Loki, then a jar of green chunks (relish) over the side o the stand or Kuma. There were a couple of hot-dog rolls left inside the stand, but Kikki pushed aside the one she had grabbed beforehand.
The scents flourished like mist, attracting a few alley cats who came padding towards the stand cautiously.


It looks nasty, but it would be Heaven for a puppy ^__^

Loki used her paw to roll the red tube to the side. She lifted her body up, taking the top of the stand handle and lifting it up. She flipped it open and stuck her head in. She picked up a few hotdog links and dragged them out. Six altogether. She wrapped them around her neck and picked up the red tube, holding it carefully in her jaws and padding away from the stand. She set the tube down and took the hotdogs off her neck, looking at Kuma and Kikki, waiting for them.

Kikki hung the links on her back, and they swished from side to side as she trotted along, the other yellow tube clamped in her jaws. The chubby stand-owner was sitting on a park bench--eating a hot-dog, of course--and he was getting near to spotting the dogs, "Kuma, hurry! He might see you!" she called to the Bear Dog. She had eight hot-dogs linked together total, and they smelled good. She had also managed to slip a bun under the hot-dog on the very top of her back, which was keeping it in place. Her hips lolled from side to side as she walked, proud of her discovery.

Lakota watch and watched Kikki, a grin spread across her muzzle. "Won't matter to much. He's fat anyways!" She called, talking about the owner.

Kuma curled his lips back in disgust. He didn't know what the other dogs were eating, but he wouldn't have any part of it. He nodded slowly following the other two as an Upwalker appeared slowly moving back to his space. "What are you eating?" he said hoping they note his tone of distaste. "I'll go for something more... like forest prey." he muttered looking around the park. He spotted a flock birds pecking at some Upwalker food on the ground. Keeping to the spitting water he slowly crawled forward, keeping hidden and still when the birds got disrupted. A little Upwalker ran by making strange noise at the top of his lungs, causing the birds to scatter. Kuma quickly leaped years of hunting moose kicking in and managed to catch a tiny bird by the tip of it's tail. Yanking it to the ground with him he smashed it's back on the cement and turned to look at the little Upwalker who for some reason had stopped making noise. He shrugged and totted back over to the two dogs.

Well... I suppose this once was an animal, too. she smirked in her mind. "Nice catch, Kuma." she said, then swiveled her back so the links fell. Kikki felt a hint of sweetness as she licked the yellow tube, too. This was yer favorite, even though she didn't even know what it was. She grabbed a whole 'dog' and started chewing it. It was meaty and a little chewy, but tasted wonderful! Her HDs had been cooked, and slathered in some slippery, shiny grease-like pans, and she'd hoped so had Loki's.
The fat man threw his wrapper in the garbage, and, opening a bag of Frito Lays, ran as fast as he could back to the stand. To his surprise, everything but one HD link and a bag of buns had been stolen. "Stupid mutts!" he choked, wiping some ketchup from his chin. Kikki, of course, didn't know what he was saying, hat he was doing, or how he got so big. { <.< }

Kuma nodded in response to Kikki's praise and muttered a quiet, "thanks." The bird was small, not enough to sustain him after his travel to this place and not eating the day before, but it stopped the low growling from his stomach. Laying in the shade out of Upwalker view, but still nearby the other two dogs he ripped apart small chunks from his bird. The meal went quickly and he hopefully sniffed the air for anything else. The birds had returned despite the loss of one of their flock, but Kuma didn't want to go near the strange little Upwalker for he feared it might come even closer the next time. He couldn't scent any other prey and let out a disatsified grunt. He felt a little probing against his head and heard the name Nexxus being whispered in his ear. "Fine, I'd go, but I have to wait for Kikki and Loki to finish." he growled quietly to low for the other faes to hear. He shook his pelt and padded back over to them to sit down and wait. They still hadn't finish, making his impatience grow bigger. "Is there any other water around nearby other than the spitting water over there? That actually tastes real?" he asked for it seemed like at least one of the dogs knew her way around the Upwalker's dens.

Lakota had been crouched by her food, chewing slowly. She had eaten a total of three links and a little bit from the red tube. "I thought there was a small pond somewhere around her, but maybe not." She replied, taking the last bite of her fourth link. She glanced at Kikki. "Anyone want the last two?" She asked curiously. Her brown eyes held a soft shine as she thought back to her sister. She would've taken them no doubt.
