Mortimer
Mortimer saw Rose tumble off and looked worried for a minute until she bounded up and over to him. He caught the doe before it hit the ground and now had its upper body laying over his back. "Nice job," he said and shifted his load off of him. The doe fell with a soft thud and he was able to stretch out. He winced a bit with his paw because he had to put all his and the doe's weight on it but he brushed it off and bayed for the pack. Dinner was served.
Abigail
Abigail had been taking part in her daily duties when she sat and looked into the forest with a grimace. "What on earth is taking him so long?" she asked out loud with no one to hear but herself. She paced a bit until a while later, he brother's call echoed from the woods. Abigail perked her ears in interest. He must have caught something big. She howled to the rest of the pack and went in after him.
