Paisley walked out of the cave, but made her way to Ace. She dried up the tears, and smiled. "Hey.. Ace," she murmered.

Masozi told her how she broke her ribs. "I've only got at least three or four more days to be stuck in here."

Mika giggled. "Where? Where?!" she laughed.

[Lanana]

Jake smiled. "Close your eyes, it's a surprise," he said, still walking closely beside Mika.

Jane nodded. She looked behind her, and pulled out a few herbs from a leafy bag. "Here, have these," she said, giving them to Masozi.

Mika did as she was told. "Okay, now what?'' she was getting excited.

Masozi took the herbs, and ate them. "Thanks," she murmered. "What will these do?"

Ace smiled and licked her cheek. "You okay?" he noticed her tears, the plan was forming itself. Without noticing Femi he grinned at Paisley alone. "Are you ready for my surprise?" he asked kindly, licking her tears. Ace purred loudly and looked at his crush.

Paisley nodded, and closed her eyes. "My eyes are already closed," she giggled.

"Good." he cooed. Twining his tail with hers he was rubbing on her side, purring still. "Will you take a walk with me?" he asked cooly, already walking with her. Ace looked ahead into the distance and whispered to himself, directions. 'Right, ok this way, now left. Alright. Open your eyes my sweet Paisley." he sung her name, loving the way it rolled. A large flat rock, they stood on, it had a carving in it that read. "Love is like a hunt, it hits you fast and gets you going, until you go crazy and cant get enough. This is only stop #1.We can go on and on. He smiled at his perfect rock carves. A small creek dazzled under the rock, running through it. Little flies buzzed about and butterflies fluttered. The sun was at it's peak, and it lit up the jungle with a unreal color. It made his honey eyes sparkle and flash. Ace looked at her, wishing he could read her mind. A soft tear fell down his snout as he picked the flower. "Here, for you." he said a rare white jungle rose in his teeth, and he put it behind her ear. Twining his tail again he smiled. And Ace sung his song in a smooth, jazzy voice.
"I believe in a thing called love, just listen to the rhythm of my heart, it beats yours. And, there's a chance we could make it now. If you give this chance, I'll show you a time, and hopefully you'll be mine. I have never felt this way before and swear I never feel it again. I love you, Paisley, ohh, because I believein a little, burning thing called love. I hope you stitch this open wound, it's tearing me apart, ohh you drive me cra-zy, yeah Paisley you drive me cra-zy. Because I believe in love..."
Ace smiled, more tears and purring following, and as the sun set down, the night lights appeared, a glowing green and blue.

Paisley still coudn't speak. She listened to the jazzy tone of his voice, the sound of running water, The sound of her heart racing.

"Well...? I love you a lot Paisley, you are the world to me, and I would never leave you." He said lovingly. Ace licked her ear and smiled. His eyes were glowing because of the night lights. The white rose was beautiful clashed with Paisley's fur. "I hope you think about me, and just because Femi likes me does not mean I would go to her if you chose Kimba." Ace said defensively. He smoothed it out, humming the tune of his song.

Femi ran away, tears prickling her eyes. Ace didn't like her, she was just a toy to him. It was Paisley he loved. she ran into the jungle, the direct opposite way that Ace and Paisley had gone, and crawled in a hollow tree. "WHY DOES HE HATE ME?" she cried, her sides heaving. All she wanted was things to work out. She had never planned on falling for him, and even though he liked Paisley he could atleast notice her. Femi sunk down to the mossy ground. She could feel her heart breaking, splintering like glass. "Even if Paisley chooses Kimba, I won't be Ace's mate. He has hurt me too much." she growled. "I'm done with being shy. Screw it!! I am now my own lioness, and no-one can decide what I will or won't do!!" she snarled to herself. She was done with love.

Dan heard a shout. He ran, seeing a lioness. "Are- are you alright?" He asked, approaching her slowly.

Jane smiled. "Those herbs should heal your ribs by tomorrow. Just relax and have a nice rest, Jeremy can stay with you if you like," she said, winking at Jeremy.

Jeremy nodded. "Yeah, err- I have nothing better to do anyway," he said quickly, grinning at his mother. "Just trust my mother, she's been learning to heal for years," he said with a smile.

Jake smiled. "Almost there," he whispered, making sure that the sky was now purple and the stars were twinkling brightly. The flax was wavering, and 'I love you Mika' was carved into each piece of flax. The cave that he had entered, Mika with him was lit with glow worms, and there was a possum nicely cut up over a fire. He breathed in the nice cool air, then put some leaves around the fire. Checking that the leaves reading 'Mika' were tightly strung to the top of the cave, he smiled slightly to himself. "Alright, open your eyes," he said, His eyes twinkled as he waited for a reply from Mika.
