"Oh....uh...ya. I gotta go. I'm getting tired." Sharon ran off, sleeping in the little den Jake escorted her to when he first let her stay.

((I just saw the posts where Jake and Shirley said they liked each other and it's really cute lol.))

"Okay? I guess Jake is fine here, I mean he going to come home,right?"she said to herself. She padded home and crawled into her den. "Way to go, Shirley! Your truthfulness hurt someone else's feelings! Nice going!",she thought. She felt terrible again, so she slept. Hoping the feeling would disappear in the mourning.

Sharon closed her eyes, not sleeping, only thinking about Shirleys word and hearing her voice repeat those scary words she said 'Well...let's just say I was shy at first,too",said Shirley,"You need to get to know him more. Um,I'm afraid what I'm about to say is going to make you heartbroken...Okay, so um, you know that waterfall? That is where uh,I admitted that I liked him and he said that erm, he liked me,too. And that it was why he bought me there. Now, we go there whenever we feel bored or uh,have nothing to do.'

'What is that supposed to mean?' Sharon thought. After hours of thinking, she finally fell asleep.

Shirley overslept because she had troubles sleeping the night before. When she did wake up, she didn't dare to come out because seeing Sharon would just remind her of last night. She waited until Sharon woke up...

Sharon woke up hours ago, but she stayed in the den because she didn't feel like seeing Shirley's face...and she knew Shirley wouldn't want to see her....But finally she had no choice. She had to get up soon or later. She hopped out of bed trying to avoid Shirleys den. She didn't want her to know she was up.

Shirley crawled to the back of her den so Sharon wouldn't notice her. Now, Shirley was hungry. Her stomach was practically begging for food,but she knew she had to wait until Sharon left.

Sharon slowly walked out to the forest and jumped into the nearest lake. She drank the fresh water and searched for fish.

Shirley popped her head out of her den and looked around to see if Sharon was still there. She was not, so Shirley quickly walked to the fresh-kill pile and grabbed a small squirrel. Then, she started munching on it.
