Akuma no Chi

He looked at her and smiled. Hearing her happniess. "Thats great Winter, I'm sure they are all strong and will grow into great wolves." He said confidently. He always had an air about him that seemed confident and brave, he was born that way. But now after the days with the pack, sleep, and food. He had grown to a strong wolf once agein.


Kiru no Yuki

She nodded. It did seem like something to good to be true. Then she saw him go into the water, and coutiously dipped a paw in it. She wasn't sure how it could be warm, so she was a little wary. She lapped up a little of the water, curious. She was surprised when it tasted as clean as it was clear.

Kiba thought that that would probably be her answer. Loners were tough, and didn't take nicely to the damsel in distress treatment. He only wanted to help, however he could. They were nearing the camp, as the lake wasn't too far away. He still shivered a bit from his icey encounter, but was feeling much better.

Winter beamed, practically glowing with happiness. Fubuki looked up from his gathering and smiled at her. " So you have more brothers and sisters? That's wonderful! By the way, how are Summer and Autumn? Oh, and I can't forget Ocean, Ash, and Midnight. " Winter's face suddenly grew sad. Fubuki was taken aback, and knew he had said something wrong. ' Oh great, I made her sad! ' He thought agrily at himself. ' What did I say? ' He fretted. " My littermates are no longer with us. " She told him, looking at the ground. " I, I'm so sorry Winter... " He choked out his answer. He was deeply hurt, they being like his littermates as well. He was the only pup in his litter, and had been raised with Winter and her siblings, their dens right next to eachother. He remembered each of their smiling, happy faces, and almost sobbed at the thought that they were gone forever. She looked at him, her eyes kind. " It's ok Fubuki. You didn't know. It probably hurts you as much as it hurts me. " She told him, seeing his eyes held pain as well.

Koda smiled at her. " Come on in! It feels really good, especially since we can only swim in the Summer otherwise. " He paddled over to a platform of rock in the middle of the pool where he could stand but still be in the water.

Reese could have cared less if Kiba helped her in that situation. She did not like getting help, and she wasnt about to get help walking throw snow. I mean come on its SNOW! As they got close to the camp, the snow lessened due to all the tracks. Enjoying being able to walk easier, Reese looked down and noted that her paws began to bleed again,

Kiba, Shiro, and the small wolf they had found entered the camp. Kiba ran ahead and called to Storm. Storm emerged from his den, greeting Kiba. He then looked at the small, bleeding wolf who had entered camp. " So you've brought another one, huh Kiba? " Storm asked humorously. Kiba nodded. Storm approached the little wolf, looming over her in comparison. His ocean-blue eyes looked her over. " It looks like you have traveled far. What is your name? " His voice was strong, yet gentle.

[Sabu]

Reese lowered to the ground slightly scared from the menacing large wolf. When he spoke to her calmly and with a almost reassuring tone, she looked up at him with her multicolored eyes. Her fur seemed to blend in with the snow, even covered in mud, just like the snow. When she listened to the wolf's question she pondered a thought and then spoke. "The name?.. Reese.."

" Reese... " He muttered. " Quite a pecular name. " He chuckled. " What is your reason for entering my camp? " He asked her, the furrows above his eyes raised in question. He was never sure with loners these days. Some wanted to come into the pack, others medical attention, and some even to fight. He could see this she-wolf meant no harm, so it was either one or the other, or even both.

Reese looked up at the leader, and lowered her head for a moment then looked up at him once more. "Yes.. Maybe one day I will share with you the story of how I got it... And well.. Id really just like a nice warm den to sleep in for a night or two, just so my pads will heal over.. Then I will leave." she looked u at the wolf, as her stomach growled. She couldnt remember the last time she had actually eaten something other then winter berries. Grateful that her fur covered her protruding ribs, she said nothing forward, and instead picked up one of her paws, chewing at them to get the ice shards out of one of her toes.

Storm nodded his approval. " You may stay as long as you need. Please feel free to eat if you need, as we have currently have more than enough to sustain our pack. " Storm motioned towards two carcasses laying side by side, one a half-eaten buck, and the other a quarter-eaten doe. " If you need water, there are several streams nearby. And if you need medical attention, I'm always around. Kiba will show you to your den. " And with that, he padded away, back into his den that held his mate and six pups. Kiba looked at Reese and nodded. " Well, I guess I'll show you to your den then. " He stood up and padded towards a group of dens, each one empty and ready for use. " Here you are, Reese. A nice, large den. " He smiled warmly. " If you need anything, just howl. " He padded back over to Shiro, his dark fur ruffling slightly in the breeze.

Reese was very thankful for his hostality as she nodded to the leader. When Kiba showed her to her den, she curled up in the far back, to keep herself warm, and immediately dosed off. Her dreams for once were filled with peace and happiness. A her dreams filled with her running through meadows with other wolves she could call her 'friend'. As she dreamed, she kicked in her dream, and growled playfully. As the noises came from her, they half woke her up but she instantly fell back asleep.

Reese slept for what felt like a month, but was really only two days. When she woke up, she felt refreshed but was more hungry then ever. Taking the leader up on the offer, she stood up and took a long stretch. When she was finished, she rushed over to what was left of the carcasses and opened her mouth, biting into a large chunk of meat.

AKuma no Chi

He looked at them, and listened as he gatherd more bedding. So that was her other siblings names.. He thought, but he saw her sadness and felt sorry all over agein. They all had tragic pasts, but he didn't like the pain her brought to her. She normally seemed so carefree and kind. Thats probably why he feels so at ease around her. But then he focased agein on his work, it was stupid of him to think that way, she probably loved Fubuki, and he obviously liked her. So he flicked his ear and looked back at the full leaf.


Kiru no Yuki

She looked at him, slowly decideing to trust him, and slowly waded in the pool. It was warm ageinst her fur and body. She smiled and swam around, feeling her muscles ease and she was relaxed. She loved swimming, but would have never imagined water would be warm.
