Dusk looked at the pride, a roar from him. he looked to Jale and Egypt. "Now what?"

Hope reluctantly kept up with her parents.

"You were afraid or too much in pain," Jack said, he then walked closer to her.

Kasi bumped him. "Both." She admitted, flicking his side with her tail. "Don't pretend you weren't scared." She said, looking at him.

"You were about to day two months before. Why wouldn't I be scared, plus it was unsanitary being under a tree. Anyone could have attacked." Jack said nudging her back.

Kasi chuckled. "Unsanitary? And you wanted to move me to the cave we LIVED in." She said, flicking him again.

"Well,...yes, it WAS cleaner," Jack said. "I think you still haven't made up your mind. Also you missed the part that it was in public and hyenas could have attacked."

Thorn fell beside Hope. He looked at his parents, laughing and talking, "I wonder what they're talking about."

Hope smiled at Thorn. "Our birthplace. I didn't want to hear most of it, but it's pretty funny."

Kasi groaned. "I woulda noticed. Plus, there were two strong lions around me. I was fine. Thought they'd like some fresh air after being stuck in me for that long." She laughed, bumping him again.
