"An alley?" Lilli revolved on the spot, searching for food.

Kous rolled his eyes as Lilli looked for the food. Clearly her nose wasn't nearly as good as his, be her older or not. He triumphantly hoisted himself up onto the lid of a squat trash bin, and from there right into the unclosed dumpster.

Bemused, Lilli traced Kous's progress into the dumpster but followed unhesitatingly, charging, as always, right into danger without a qualm. Now she could smell the food, some sort of meat, and began pushing through the slime to find it.

As Kous dug with Lilli, he was suddenly alerted to a noise. He stopped instantly and pricked his ears. "Shh, something's coming!" he hissed to Lilli.

(Anyone feel like interrupting my characters during their dig for trash?)

Snow bird walked through her alley. She heard something, then jumped into a trash can, seeing a dog and a wolf. She growled, hissing, and spat, Get out of my alley!

Kous yelped at the sudden appearance of a snow-white fox, small, but larger than him by a long shot. He backed into a corner of the dumpters and made muttering apologetic noises.

Lilli, however, curious, clueless, and ignorant as ever, stepped forward and greeted the newcomer cheerfully, like they'd met before. "Hi," she said. "We're looking for food. Hey, half of my fur is all of your fur's color. We half-match!"

Sow Bird growled, but realized they were both young looking. She spat, and said, Fine, take some food, but don't come back. There's a half eaten deer carcass in that dumpster. Just got it today.

The Neva Masquerade kitten walked through the sides of town, head raised as she showed off the blue ribbon around her neck. Long, creamy colored fur with darker tips blew in the wind as she walked, and her chocolate brown eyes scanned the area boredly. Soon she stopped, letting out a long Mrroow! of a yawn.
