Kapu continued walking until he reached a small stream that cut through the forest. He padded into the water until it came up to his ankles, blood dripping down his leg and soaking into the water, making the liquid run red. He sighed and went to work cleaning the wound, not wanting it to get infected as that would spell disaster.

Isis came upon a small puddle. She used her best knowledge of tending to wounds to try and treat her own. 'Stupid Brute.' She mumbled, then began to sing beautifully.

Kapu pricked his ears, glancing up quickly when the sound of what seemed like singing reached him. Squinting his eyes he peered into the trees, but when he failed to see anything he returned to the task at hand. He continued licking the wound on his shoulder, wincing every now and then as he touched a sore spot.

Isis shut her mouth and simply hummed the melod as she cleaned up. She managed to wash off her fur too after using the water she needed for her wounds.

I padded down the side of the small hill I was on the side of the stream that was below me. I stepped fully into it, only enough to wet my paws, then lowered my head get a drink. It was pretty cold, yet I didn't mind, being I'd been in colder places. I didn't really think about seeing if anyone was near, just went on about my business like i was alone here.

Kapu stopped licking at his wound when the water returned to its normal clear color, the blood having stopped dripping from his shoulder. He sighed and lowered his head, his tongue darting out to lap up the water. Swallowing, he retreated from the water and walked along the bank of the stream, his ears flicking as he became lost in his thoughts.
