Staggering in a bit of surprise, as he was zoning out, he looked down at the other pup. She was pretty, perky little fox- he liked her immediately. "Hello," he said back, and cocked his head slightly. He wanted to get a better look at her, as he knew that she was his only playmate for a while yet. He nudged her back, with his paw, and trotted off quickly, eager to play tag with her. He called out, "You're it!!"

She stares around the skulk, identifying and memorizing names. She stood partly in the shade of a pine tree, the other half in the blazing sunlight. She closed her eyes momentarily, listening to the sounds and a distant rabbit. She lay her eyes on one fox in particular, Aku. She snorted, and padded up to him. "Excuse me, Kienan, I must get a new supply of lamb-ear. I particularly like the herb- it works well as a blood-stopper. May I go?" Her voice was slightly rusty and low- she hadn't talked in a while, other than to snort quickly.
