[I just realized I wrote foal in my last post*facepalm*]

Willow watched her daughter with a smile and then looked over as Lichen spoke. ''Yes, Nole is her name'' She said turning her gaze back to her pale daughter. She never understood why her fawn was white but that didn't bother her, glad to have a fawn that lived for once, since the first two die at birth or days later.

"What? What are you talking about? Obviously you haven't had nay loners on your territory!" Sand said, offended. "If you find a loner, you inform them they are on your territory, and ask them to join. If they say no, then you attack. Or fetch some bucks to attack for you"

Lichen nodded to the doe "She'll make a fine doe" he said, watching her some more. He loved fawns, how they were so full of energy and curiosity. They never failed to make him smile. He lingered for a few seconds before heading off, wanting to be alone to think a while.

"Look. I was just trying to help, and you'd do well to remember that!" Yarri glared at Sand for one more moment. She would be putting a word in about the doe to Lichen. Rude, rude, rude. Yarri then trotted back into the forest, hoping runner would leave, or follow. At least then the Doe wouldn't cause anymore trouble.

Personality: Lark can be very skitish and is always looking out for danger. She is more nervous than usual because she is expecting her fourth fawn. When she is confronted with danger however she can turn pretty nasty and is a suprisingly good fighter.
Appearance: For a meadow deer she has a suprisingly light build making her faster and quicker than some of the other deer. He color is a light tan that is marked with even lighter dapple markings.From her under belly to her chin she has a patch of nearly white.

Appearance: As his name suggests he is of a very dark color. He is a dark brown almost like the bark of a tree. His antlers are not to big but they have quite a few points and are sharp.

Personality: Wren is a very old deer. She wise in the ways of the forest. Though she is old she can be snappy and sarcastic. She does not like it when other deer think she is to old or weak.
Appearance: A slim deer with a coat that is a common fawn color. Throughout her coat there is a dusting of silver hairs that give away her age.
History: Has lived through much and acts as a sort of story teller.

Yarri made her way back to camp, growling about whatnot. She wanted to talk to Lichen, but he was already frustrated with her, so she didnt bother.

Wren raised her head her head as she heard Yarri coming back. She laughed quietly to herself as she heard Yarri murmering darkly to herself. Slowly unlocking her knees her joints popped and cracked at the movement but soon worked themselves out as she walked over to Yarri. Walking as lightly as though she was still a young doe Wren laughed again and asked the younger doe "something troubling you?"




Grove made his way slowly through the territory. His steps were slow and methodical, giving nothing away but a calm air of athority. Everything seemed calm but he kept alert, he knew that you should always be ready for what ever could happen. He heard some voices over at the very edge of the territory so he slowly made his way over there not really worried just investigating in case things got out of hand.

Lark lay on a soft patch of grass. She was tired, the weight of her unborn fawn drained her strength and left her very tired. Everything was quiet, she closed her eyes letting the taller stems of grass tickle her nose and fill her with the smell of the earth. A light wind played over her as she lay there, ruffling her coat.

Yarri looked at Wren. "No." She said shortly. Yarri had no time for small talk at the moment. she had more pressing matters to discuss.

Wren gave Yarri an affectionate look still keeping pace. She had known the doe's mother and had watched her grow, so she knew when Yarri was lying to her. But then again she also knew when Yarri was preoccupied. Keeping silent Wren wondered what had made Yarri like this, probally a problem with the other herd Wren though to herself.

Lichen looked over at Wren. She ought to have a second, as he wasn't sure how much longer she'd last. Who knew, one attack, a bout of sickness, and that could be it. He pushed that out of his mind, not wanting to think of negative thoughts.
