Yarri nodded to Lichen. She darted back into the forest. Yarri didn't yet have enough data for her calculations. She looked behind her as she ran, and went right into a tree. "Bang!"

Lichen looked up and watched the fawn play as she stuck her head in the bush and running across the leafy ground. He smiled, and walked over to Willow. "Nole, is it?" he asked, standing a few feet to her side.

Crystal realized how ridiculous she was being. It was late morning, waiting for night would prove useless. She decided to walk around her territory for a while. The repetitiveness of walking was always calming. She stepped off the rock and allowed her hooves to sink into the snow as she slipped through the trees out of the clearing.

Willow watched her daughter with a smile and then looked over as Lichen spoke. ''Yes, Nole is her name'' She said turning her gaze back to her pale daughter. She never understood why her fawn was white but that didn't bother her, glad to have a fawn that lived for once, since the first two die at birth or days later.

Runner heard hooves hitting the ground as he looked up his 9point ivory rack shining in the sun, he saw a doe coming his way. "hmmm." he said as he watched her come his way

Yarri got up. Dazed, but not hurt. She glared at the tree for a moment, and steping around a clump of ferns, was on her way. Yarri heard Runner before she saw him. The light hoof beats, and a snort came Ro her ears. Yarri cantered towards the sound.

Sand halted right in front of him, her hooves skidding slightly. Her ears twitched in annoyance, and she said "What do you think you're doing on my territory?" She put one forehoof forward firmly, hoping for a dramatic effect

Runner put his ears back and looked down at the doe, "your territory?" he questioned "I've been here for as long as I can remember." he spoke softly not to upset her.

Crystal trotted down the mountain, building up speed as she half-stumbled down a steep hill. She slowed and paused at the bottom. The snow wore away at the edge of the hollow she was now in, and she had to be watchful for the unpure.

"Mm hmm. Yeah, right." she said, rolling her eyes and pawing the ground. "You were probably across the lake, or somewhere not in our territory. Well, you're in out terriotry now, and that's what matters. Now" She shot him a glare.

Yarri stopped at the edge of the forest, and saw the buck and doe. More data for her agriculture re-search! "How Does react to loners on their territory" she smiled at her private joke. Yarri didn't step out of the forest, but she did stick her head out of the trees.
