Looking down at his paws, he saw the mostly eaten rabbit carcass. Sliding it away, he wanted to take another but knew he couldn't.

"I highly doubt it... No brute will ever love me like Birch did...", Melonie said sadly nibbling at the rabbit finding no interest in it. She wasnt really hungry but she needed to eat.

Then she replayed what he had said to Tokomo about how he Said he led her on, fed her lies of love and, only wanted pups... She looked at melonie when she finished, waiting for her reaction...

"He turned abusive because of... My brother joining your pack... It made him angry and he lashed out on me... Then he felt better and I became his personal lashing bag. He said he wouldn't stop beating me until my brother left your pack. I didnt know what to do except tto just go with it...", Melonie said sadly.

"To Birch, Tokomo was his best friend he didn't want to lose. To Tokomo, Birch was the one who was stealing his little sister away from him causing Tokomo to dislike him...", Melonie said with her ears still flattened against her head. She finally took a bite out of the rabbit.

Ryssa layed by melonie for comfort. 'it'll be okay eventually' she told her. 'you need to focus on happy things for now, till you have your pups' she added... 'maybe he'll eventually come around, or you'll fine your true mate and will fall in love and be happier...'
