Tyflos looked at BlackThunder and said "okay, a hard yet simple task.... I'm so glad it's still morning, I would have died if it was afternoon". He noticed Star standing a little bit further than BlackThunder and twitched his ears. He looked at the prey and then around camp trying to think of a place to put it.

BlackThunder nodded,"A storm is blowing in sometime tommorow, so we need to be prepared.",she said seriously now. Following his gaze she shrugged and started back for the kill pile to see what they had besides the elk.

Star got to her feet and padded away towards her den, letting out a yawn, she sat down in front of it and then lowered herself to the ground, to lie down, she rested her head on her paws as she watched wolves come and go.

Tyflos got an idea and started pushing snow out of his way, he soon reached the frozen dirt and started to dig into that too. once he dug a fairly sized hole he smiled and pushed snow away from the edges, he made sure the hole was on higher grounds, it was near the normal kill pile but higher. He looked at BlackThunder and said "would this work?" you know if you pile snow on top of it, it will not melt because of the snow on top of the snow touching the prey but the hole will keep the meat from freezing and getting wet.
