Kaylin-Africa's Devil Child

Kaylin had successfully brought down another calf. This time a newborn gazelle that had been hidden away in the grass. The lioness let out a loud growl when the sounds of pawsteps seemed to get closer and her bloody muzzle lifted to scent the air. Lion. She thought to herself and taking a last bite she rose to her paws and craned her neck to see if she could see where the lion was. Bingo. She saw the outline of a malea fairly good distance away and her ears flattened as he seemed to be getting closer.

Luke turned seeing a female but kept walking. He snorted knowing she wouldn't let him in. "Just a loner passing through." he said to himself and growled as if she would attack. He sniffed the air looking for food.

Kaylin-Africa's Devil Child

Kaylin was pleased when the male passed by though she did notice he looked rather skinny. She shook her creamy white fur before padding forward and beginning to eat from the carcass once more. Her bl,ue eyes followed the male as he walked off.

Luke yawned and stopped to drink from a water puddle. He drank it dry then continued to walk. The thought of asking to join slipped into his mind but he continued to walk.

Kaylin-Africa's Devil Child

Kaylin sighed and rose to her paws picking up what remained of the small carcass before she loped after the male with a slight growl of irritation. She slowed when she finally caught up then dropped the carcass which made a wet thud against the dry ground. Her tail tip flicked back and forth dangerously and she looked at the male expectantly taking a few steps away from the gazelle.

Luke growled at the female. He tensed not wanting to attack but would if she did. He was just passing through but he also wanted to be apart of a pride. He stood his ground waiting for her next move.

Kaylin-Africa's Devil Child

Kaylin gave only a flicker of her ear her light eyes glaring at the male now. "Do you want food or not?" By now she was beginning to regret her decision to come her because it seemed she was nowitching for a fight. Of course, that would be unwise considering males were so much bigger than were females.
