Sunny

Sunny's eyes burned with rage as he watched the fox take Devri, but knew attacking would only make it worse. "Don't you dare hurt her..." he hissed, his eyes helplessly locking with hers as she tried to reassure them. His sweet Devri, trying to keep them from being scared while she was in so much pain. It's teeth were only inches away... he swallowed again, looking around shakily as one of the vixens began circling. There was nothing he could do but play along. "Y-Yes, uhm ma'am. We're going right now." he stuttered, the last of the sentence coming quick and harsh. He started hurriedly toward the direction Frost had returned from, hoping fiercly that nobody else mentioned where they were going. The only thing that kept those foxes from killing was that he was the only one to their knowledge with coordinance. "C'mon guys, we need to get their before dark." he stated sadly, knowing they would vanish into the deadly night forever if their sight was lost.

Aster

Aster shrieked as the fox suddenly returned, her breath cut off once more as it took her by the neck. She went limp, gasping as her legs and waist suddenly plunged back into snow. It had lept from the tree effortlessly, not even breaking a nail. Her eyes watering slowly as she felt the drool seep into her feathers, her dry, terrified beak fell open. Was this it? Was her life about to end? All alone in the cold, torn apart by seemingly hundreds of shining teeth... what had she done, what had they all done to deserve this? Just as her mind began to withdraw into a safer place, like back to the pond on that warm fall day, she saw her flock come into view. Still surrounded by foxes, but intact none the less. She gave a brief honk and struggled a bit just before it dropped her, her legs involentarily taking her to Maca's side. "Maca?! Maca! Are you okay?" she cryed, seeing the blood on his head. Then her eyes lept to Devri, a startled keen tearing from her throat as she took in the terrible scene. "Devri!" she choked, collapsing in the snow from the trauma.

Scar

Scar ran up to Sunny.
"I'm coming too." he announced and then said in a much quieter tone to Sunny:
" I'll make sure the food is up to my standards."

Captain

Captain decided to stay.
" I'll guard the rest of the flock. If the food isn't good enough you can always come back and have a snack here." he grinned. Then quickly and silently he put a paw on Aster's wing so that she couldn't go any further.
" Stay here." he muttered.

Frost

Frost opened one eye slowly to make sure that the fox had gone away. With an aching neck he stood up and turned to face Sunny. He knew Sunny had no idea where the town was. To get there you had to make many twists and turns. He looked at Sunny as if he was saying you don't know the way before dropping his gaze. He waited to see if Sunny understood his silent message.

Aster

Aster gave a small whimper as she felt the fox secure her wing, but all she could think about was the others. Sunny, selling his soul to such devious characters for the safty of the flock. Maca, who had taken a nasty hit to the head to protect her. Frost, who had been hurt in the frey. America, who was still in shock. The new goose, who had valiantly fought the animals by their side despite being an outcast. Devri, who hung limply from the grinning leader's maw. And then Acrite, who had fearlessly stood up for Devri as she cryed out. Her neck trembled as she spoke. "J-Just let her go, please, you're hurting her!"

Sketh

Sketh dropped Devri in a heap on the ground, snapping at Acrite with a visciouse snarl. "Touch me again and you'll all die right here and now. You have no clue how generous we're being." he stated in a low, distorted snarl, his eyes flickering to Aster momentarily. Then he straightened, the toothy grin reappearing on his neatly composed face. His eyes never leaving Acrites, he securly positioned a paw over Devri's neck. "We're going to have a lot of fun together, aren't we precious?" he cut his eyes down to Devri, another sinister growl rolling from his amused jaws. This was just too perfect. Two suiters, running to the little spit fire's rescue? One leaderly and passionate, the other bold and fearless, both having a deep affection for the same female...excellent. This could lead to hours of seemingly endless entertainment. He threw his head toward Sunny, smiling. "I'll be keeping this one very close for the duration of our little gathering, since she appears to be in such high demand." he laughed coldly, this time firmly lifting Devri by the healthy wing.

Gena

Gena stood from the snow with a huff, ruffling her feathers disdainingly as she turned back to the smirking fox. She glared at him evily for a moment, and then hurried after this so called "Sunny". He seemed to know what to do.
(WB!! "begins hyperventilating"))

Sunny

Sunny caught Frost's glance as one of the foxes spoke to him, giving a very small, very tense nod in response to them both. He needed an excuse for Frost to travel up front by his side, since he was the only one who truly knew where to go. He couldn't make any errors at a time like this, for Devri's life was on a thin string. He tryed to ignore the fox who held Devri, knowing it was just a ploy to try and drive a stake inbetween he and Acrite. Deep down, he'd always known Acrite was attracted to Dev, from the very moment they'd first met on the pond. But he accepted it, knowing love was a thing that couldn't be helped. He just hoped that Acrite wouldn't succumb to the trickster's hurtful words. Turning his head back to the group, his eyes seered into Captain. "I was under the impression that we were all coming?" he asked simply, looking back and forth between fox and goose alike. "I'm not leaving a fox alone with my family." he continued in a rather irritated voice, looking back to Frost. "And...I would very much appreciate it if Frost, my second in command, were able to travel at my side? It's traditional neccessity..." Now he was just blatantly making things up, hopefully the foxes didn't know any better. He needed Frost to guide him, through secretive whispers if possible, and he couldn't think of any other way to make it happen but to make up some outlandish "the goose's way" type skit. He looked to Devri with just a hint of grief, hoping she knew, even in her confused state, that she was the new second in command since Owl's departure. Frost was just a really good friend, and he sincerely hoped that the gander understood that as well.

Devri gave another small cry as he dropped her, then cussed him out with colorful words when the fox picked her up again. She held in a snide remark about him when Sunny started talking, and gulped. Hearing him ask for Frost, she got confused. Why Frost? Wasen't Sunny the one who knew where this..Treasure was? She looked at him with a look, but did not say anything. Obviously he wanted her to stay quiet, and Ending anyone's life was not a good idea.

Acrite Had to close his eyes, tell himself everything was going to be fine, and breathe deeply untill he could control himself. Looking at Sunny, he nodded. He did not dare look at Devri right now, that would only result in him getting angry and more pressure on Dev, and Sunny. Acrite had a great respect for Sunny, and would go to anything to help the gander out.

Kita looked on with hunger dancing in her eyes. She swished her tail and sent snow flying over the geese, snarling at them. Come on, we don't have all day pretty boy. She said to Sunny, watching him. She looked at Devri, suddenly feeling a spark of sympathy for the goose before looking away.

Maca

Maca gently helped Aster to her feet, still feeling a little woozy from the blood loss. He took a deep breath and steadied himself, he couldn't stumble with Aster like this. She'd be hurt, and Maca would take all the blame, and hurt himself too. So he didn't. "Sunny," he honked quietly, "Please hurry, won't you? There's a good fellow. Go on."Maca and Aster made their clumsy way over to Sunny, stumbling and almost falling a few times to get to him.

America

America got shakily to her webbed feet and staggered over to where Sunny, Aster and Maca where, then sat down on her butt in the cold snow and regarded the foxes. SHe looked at them like they where something gross that couldn't understand them, like a garden slug. She yawned widly and loudly, then closed her eyes half way, still pretty tired from the mornings events, and from not being a morning person goose.

Ninja

Ninja cackled happily before setting off to sit near Sketh, the newfound leader of some sort. He made it very clear that he was in carge. With anyone else, Ninja'd be challenging them for the right, but Sketh already had it. She smirked at the obviously terrified geese, except for the one who was yawning. They must be a simple minded creature. Ninja thought scornfully, standing up on her dainty black paws.

Sketh

Sketh grinned through Devri's feathers as Ninja appeared at his side, immediately puffing his chest out. His eyes borred into Sunny as he responded acidly. "Fine, but you know what we'll do if you try anything." he gave a snarl for effect, getting a better grip on the gooses wing as he eyed the rest of the flock. "Now move it." he huffed, rising with raised hackles to further inforce the command. Those wooden-headed geese just didn't seem to realize how deadly serious he was.

Aster

Aster whimpered as Maca helped her up, shooting a hurt glance at the fox who'd had her wing pinned. Why? Why were they doing this? If foxes had any sum of intelligence, they'd be in town already, like they would have been if not for this. She shivered, trying not to make anymore eye contact with the savage animals. She buried her head in Maca's feathers.

Sunny

Sunny nodded, swallowing hard as he glanced to Frost. He shakily made his way to the gander, his voice a hushed whisper. "Stay close, drop one wing in the direction we should go." he told him, looking to Devri one more time before starting in the basic direction of town.

Gena

Gena looked around, unable to feel very much fear from her current state of "awakness". She wanted to bite those foxes, bite them a lot and really fast, but it wouldn't help their cause any. She huffed, stumbling over to a goose who seemed just as disinterested as she was. "Bonjour* madame**." she told her(America), plopping down in a gittery heap of feathers.

Frost

Frost nodded his head. He moved forward, slipping through the snow. He had butterflies in his stomach. Frost wondered what would happen to them if the foxes didn't think the food was good enough? Probably tear them into shreds and eat them whole.A shiver ran down his spine. Then ever so slightly he dropped his left wing. He hoped Sunny saw it.

Scar

Scar moved forward. His stomach rumbled fiercly as he wondered what food there would be in the town. Then he smelt something disgusting. Scar thought for a moment. Then he realised what the smell was.
" Zombies." he muttered. They had obviously been attracted by the smell of blood. Nothing to worry about though. He could always escape quickly but before that bite a few of the undead.

Captain

Captain took his paw off the gooses's wing and trotted up to the other foxes. He was as hungry as they were and he didn't exactly want to be last to get there. By that time most of the food would have been eaten. After a while of walking he heard a rustle to the left of him. Then a low moan. It took him a second to realise he was standing beside a zombie. He jumped back just as the zombie tried to hit him.

Devri gave a small wimper as she was dragged around. The feeling she felt most, though, was embaressment. She was not suposed to be this frail. Looking up, she tryed to catch Acrite's eye, only to fail. He seemed to be looking away on porpuse. Sighing, she put her head back down, and tryed to close her eyes. Maybe passing out would let er go to dreamie land and make her wake up when there were no dangers, only herself, the flock, and the most perfect world imagineable..

((Whitewolf: Oh noez!! At least you found it, I guess? X3))
((Tinebrook: Gahh, I can't figure out your master plot for Devri! B: "steams for a moment" Are you gonna bring her to the point of death before she remembers? Kill Acrite? Injure Sunny? All three?! xD))

Sunny

Sunny caught Frost's wing movement in his periferal, shifting his path as directed. He heard the zombies as they collected nearby, but he didn't want to think about them. They were the least of his worries. The plan was anything but fool proof, and if it failed...He cut his eyes back to the flock, watching as they gathered behind him. Even the new one, whom he had no recollection of ever seeing before, had hurried over. She'd tryed to help, which automatically made her a good individual. If he failed, he and his family would be killed in cold blood. He couldn't let that happen. Ever. He tried not to look at Devri anymore, even as she whimpered. It only put her in more danger, her capter being somewhat melovolent, as it turned out.

Aster

Aster peaked out from Maca's feathers, deciding that she didn't want to spend her last day of life with closed eyes. She now observed the things around her, watching how the foxes communicated as if they were some experiment gone horribly awry. They had a somewhat similar hierarchy to a goose flock, the lead male calling the shots. He appeared to have a female at his side as well, maybe his mate? She couldn't tell, since staring for very long might draw unwanted attention. The only thing that kept them from tearing her throat out was Sunny's deal. With a sudden ping of terror and realization, her sumbconscious told her that this was most likely the closest she would ever be to this many foxes without death quickly insueing. With that thought in mind, she turned her helpless gaze to Devri, her eyes quietly saying "It's okay, everything's gonna be okay, just don't think about...". Devri was her best friend, one of her only best friends since.... she swallowed hard, trying to be strong. Owl would know what to do, and she would be perfectly calm while she did it. That was just how she was.
Fearless Owl, who died fighting for her family.

Sketh

Sketh watched smugly as the geese followed his order that time. Good, they were finally making progress. Though his neck was getting stiff from all the strain it was under. He trotted up behind the flock, staying a few fox lengths back as to insure he could see them all. Wouldn't want any escapees...though he was seriously considering the release of the female. She was quite heavy, and there was no telling how far off said "glorious boutny" was. He could just retrieve her if he needed leverage. Infact, that's what he'd do. He opened his mouth, dropping her rather softly in the snow. Not intentionally, but with fear of whiplash. He needed to be on his toes for this, and a stiff neck might cause descent in the ranks. "Go, but keep up." he told her, the edge of a threat lingering his tone. He didn't have to say he would hurt her,
the deep snarl that followed said it all.

Devri first thought about saying thank you, but then the snarl followed. Instead, she thought her colorful words again. She glared at him, and marched off after them as strongly as she could. She was on the verge of collapsing, panting already, but she manged to keep a place at the back of the flock. Surely, her friends would not leave her now. She stopped for a moment to rest her leg, and becuse of that, collapsed into the snow.

Acrite watched the whole event with Devri and Sketh, ready to jump into them at any time. He watched Devri march off after the flock with dismay, and begain to follow her when she collapsed. He full out flew to her side, and began nudging her. Devri? Devri!? He said franticly. Shut up, I'm trying to rest. She mumbled faintly. Acrite smiled. He manged to get her onto his back, which she did not object to, and began following the flock.

Akita laughed as their 'leader' dropped Devri. Neck pains? She said in a mocking voice. She sat, amused, as Acrite rushed to her side and happily let her onto his back. Sketh, I thing you may be right. She said, slowly walking to the pair. We may have a little...Love triangle going on here. She felt happy, now that they had some fair entertainment.

({Oh Gosling, it's much, much, Much worse...You shall never figure it out >:-D

Anybody else think this is like the hunger games? Sort of? Peeta: Sunny, Devri: Katniss Acrite: Gale...Sort of, lol.

*Listens to rp's raspy breath* Hold on little buddy! Weekend's almost here!})
