Tess smiled and gazed back into his eyes, as he looked into hers. She felt the warmth of his paw on hers, body heat radiating off of him as he moved a little closer. She licked his nose softly, smiling brightly.

Shasta nodded. "Yeah, the beach is nice." she replied. "The park is nice too. I think I like the street that I live on the best." she said, thinking.

Duke chuckled and chased after her, laughing. He caught up to her after a while of running, his long strides making it easier. Duke wasn't really much of a runner, as his body mass slowed him down, but he could run when he wanted to. He ran beside her with a grin. "Tell me now?" he asked.

Max chuckled. He was begining to like this girl. "Shasta there's something I need to tell you." He looked down and muttered, "I'm a street dog. My family abandoned me and left me in the streets."

Shasta looked at him. "Oh, I'm sorry." she said. "So, where do you live?" she asked. "There's a den in the forest behind my house, if you ever need a place." she said, remembering how Jenny, the other house dog, who had died about six months ago, and her had sheltered there in the rain and talked. Shasta wasn't any snobby show dog, who ran away when they heard the words street dog. She was the kind to help. She didn't care where he lived or how he lived, she just wanted to help him.

"My friend and I live in an alley just behind the hotel." Max said and them looked at her. "Really? Yeah that would be great! I'll have to check with Jake since he was out looking for another place too today." He laughed. "Iwas supposed to be looking too but I met a really nice dog." He pushed Shasta gently on the shoulder.

Shasta giggled and nudged him in return. "Well, thank you." she said. "And yeah, the den thing is dug into a hill, between two oak trees." she explained to him. "I can show you wear it is if you want." she offered.

Max smiled again. "Sure but won't you get in trouble with your family for bringing a street dog near the house?" He didn't really understand humans and their territory. But he did know that if you trespassed you will probably get hit in the head with something.

Damon smiled softly then he stood up and he shook his fur. "You wanna have dinner tonight?" he said casually. He smiled and he winked, his flirtiness coming back to him. He licked her side then he looked around at all of the children.

Lexi laughed and she stumbled and Duke landed ontop of her and she smiled. "Handsome, sweet, charming and all together awesome." she whispered into his ear then she got up and she walked away, her hips swaying to the nearby music.

Ace yawned and looked at the sky. The temperature dropped down a bit, but he was still panting.
