Beth laid down in her cage, eying the oats and hay in her food bowl. She put a paw over her face, the bright sunlight burning her dull amber eyes. First they expect me to eat something for a zebra, now they expect me to put up with the sunlight! what do they think I am, stupid? she thought poking the straw hay disgusted. she groaned and tried going to sleep, but the bottom on the cage was too hot and she pounced on the side of the cage.
