Auburn sighed and got to her feet slowly, shaking leaves and pine needles from her fur. She yawned, then began trotting briskly south. She didn't know why, she just felt like it. The wind felt nice against her face, and it carried a calming scent with it. Other wolves? She thought, lifting her muzzle to the wind.
