❅WOLVES OF THE TUNDRA❅ (ALWAYS Accepting!)

On the morning of the fourth day, Spade woke up earlier than usual. The tundra sky was still dark, although the stars were fading away in preparation for dawn. Spade lay in the den a few moments, wondering why she was awake at this time. Most of the time, she always missed the dawn and had to have someone else wake her in order to watch the northern sky brighten. But there was no need to question i; she was awake; she should take advantage of it. As Spade sat up and scooted her way to the mouth of the den, she peered outside. The sky was beginning to look orange in the east. She came out of the den and sat down just outside it. She reflected on the large amount of time spent with Indigo, and couldn't put words to it, but...something just felt a little off. It wasn't him..it was her, surely. He had done nothing wrong, in fact, he had done everything right. So what was the problem?

"Four is how many I remember but maybe more." Sea said, hiding her face from Faolan. She hated her past and everything that went with it, including all the baggage.

Snowheart whispered with wide eyes, "Wow...." She interogated with a hopeful spark in her eyes, "You're fine, right?" Never didn't seem harmed, but the deer did look ruthless and irratated. Now, the herd was moving again in the opposite dirrection of them. Then, Snowheart pressed her teeth into the deer they hunted and began dragging it as it left a trail in the white snow.

Tikaani hadn't even noticed that he had stopped moving. He had now slowed down to a walk, his head moving in an arc, searching for whatever scent had disturbed him. "I thought I smelled something," he finally said to Peridot, noticing her come up to his side. "I think it's another wolf, but it has no scent I recognize."

Faolan hesitated. "How many litters of pups have you had?" He was beginning to understand how long, complex, and complicated her history was.

"Yeah," Never said, then winced at the pain in his side from where the deer had rammed into him. "I just spent most of my time trying to avoid it though." He glanced back at the deer. It was now heading away, the rest of the herd had gone up ahead and it was running to catch up. Never wished it bad luck. He looked back at Snowheart, the wild look fading, "I can't believe we did all that..."

Snowheart replied with a small soft smile, "Well, I-I'm glad we did that. We were able to get the deer.... especially becuase of y-your help. She realized he had winced and she suggested, "Maybe we can r-relax once we drag the deer back just in case you don't feel too well."

Sea shook her head. "I don't wanna remember." She said, tears beginning to well up as she remember multiple litters of pups being killed before her as the alphas laughed as they killed them, impregnating her over and over again.

"Yeah, I'd appreciate that," Never replied. He looked over at the deer Snowheart had caught. He couldn't believe that they had gone through so much effort for it. It seemed like such a long time ago since they had first gone on the hunt. "Nice catch," he said, nodding to the deer, and offering a small smile.

"I'm so sorry," Faolan replied, suddenly at a loss for words. He was usually one of those who was full of ideas. But for now, he was stumped. The best he could offer now was a warm nest and a non-painful birth through the help of the healer. And a safe place to stay, free from abusive leaders.

Sea shrugged. "It makes no difference." She said, shaky as she closed her eyes. ((wb...))

Snowheart responded with a muffled voice because of the deer she was dragging, "Thanks....... you did better though." She glanced toward the direction where they came from and realized that they were nearing the other wolves.
