[The Lost Gremlin]

Curiosity continued to circulate around Tip's head as she watched the lion with the same quizzical eyes as a young cub. She knew one thing; you'll never know if you never meet. She slid down from the rock and remained below the grassline, thankful now for her small size. Stealthily she approached the male from the far right, her movement detected only by the ripples of the grass as it parted.

Nyani laid beside a miniscule pool of water, surrounded by an array of thorny bushes. She gave out a gentle sigh and sniffed the oncoming breeze. She felt somewhat restless, even bitter about the male. Almost as though he sensed her attitude immediately and cast her out before she was even in the pride. Lowering her head she took this into consideration, wondering if she should go back.

Thistle had been watching a nearby zebra heard when he glanced back and realized the lioness had gone. "So I've lost two, eh?" He sighed wearily and laid his head down again. He still smelt her, and.. could he hear her too? No. He dismissed the thought and sat up, looking around with an air of dominance.

Quill suddenly became so full of energy that the stood up and began loping through the grassland. She enjoyed the feeling of power that came over her as all the smaller animals ran. She spotted a lone hyena and quickly swerved, not wanting to get into that. She froze as she spotted a lioness, sitting over a pool.

Kin/Family: Sure but they aren't here.
Personality: Light and dark seem to be at war within this lion, he is as reliable as the weather on how he is going to act. But most of the time he goes his way or no way, he also very unshakeable in his beliefs. He will do what he wants when he wants and is unafraid of everything. He prides himself on brains and brawn and is often close-minded about things.
History: He was born into a huge pride, ruled over by his father. He is the first child of his father and his mother, the queen. He was to be this father's heir but the multitude of males which his father had defeated to make his huge pride were stirring. They ganged up on the Pride Lord and chased him out, and as he fled he managed to grab his two year old son and took his into exile with him. They were not seen for a year and the pride fell into many different broken up prides. But they came back, Kazi now a formidable three year old. They took over the valley again, chasing out and killing those who opposed them and Kazi claimed a pride of his own. In two years Kazi had a younger full brother so he was ignored as he was remade in a younger, different lion. He left deciding his father would be fine with just his younger brother, not particularly caring about the lionesses there.

Personality: Ria is a shy, timid lioness who, usually, does whatever a lion wants her to do. She is kind and gentle and it takes her a while to work up the nerve to stand up to anybody/thing that can overpower her. She is polite and resilient, even though she subjects herself to a multitude of things others would not dream of doing.
History: She was born after her mother mated with a rogue when she was lost. When the lioness returned to the pride with her four cubs the Pride Lord killed all of them but Ria because her mother convinced him she was his daughter. But the male was very strict and when you stepped out of turn the consequences were grave. Ria left when her mother chased her out at age 2 1/2 and wandered into this land.

Kin/Family: Eh Landu is a half brother.
Personality: A spirited lioness with ambition she would make a good queen and mother. Her bravery is limited, yes, but can surpass its usual premises easily. She is pretty selfless, worrying about the pride and others before herself. As of now her main concern is her cubs.
History: Her history is fairly normal expect her pride got taken over and her dad was booted out as the new male came in, his name was Kazi. She mated with him in his second year of ruling the pride right before he left randomly. She sulked a bit for she had hoped to be Queen, then she made her mind to follow him. Along the way she lost interest in the lion who left her and moved on.

Kin/Family: Half sister Minami and his niece and nephew Ira and Sano.
Personality: Landu is a pretty easy going fellow but is a pretty good fighter. He would defend his lionesses 'till he died and isn't picky on who he lets in his pride. Often he tries to be a bit too peaceful and that can get him into some trouble.
History: Landu wasn't born in the same place as Kazi and Minami, he was born in this territory to a lone lioness. He had two sisters but when his mother met a rouge male it didn't end well. The rouge killed his siblings and nearly killed him in order to mate with his mom. His mother defended him valiantly then ran off with him to a safe place where she died of wounds from the battle.

Personality: He is a reserved cub who likes to just go with the flow. He often appears lazy but that is not the case as he loves to hunt and converse with those he feels comfortable with. Sano also is infuriatingly calm to some lions and has a sharp mind.

Sarfina and Nira walked across the plains when Sarafina picked up the sent of a Male Lion (Uko) with a lioness.

Sarafina: I smell a male.
Nira: Me to lets fallow the sent

Sarafina walkes up to Uko fearlessly.

Sarafina: Hello my name is Sarafina and this is my Daughter Nira. We have been looking to join a pride.

Zorro walked aimlessly across the plains until he came to a small watering hole.

Zorro: I must start a pride

He smelled the old sent of his sister on his short mane.

I miss her so much.

Restlessly Thistle lashed his tail. He raised his head and let out a long deep roar, calling any lone lionesses. He hoped it would carry far to any strays. He snorted and looked around at the land-- his land-- with an air of authority.

Personality: She is very active because she is afriad if she stays in one place she will become attached to it. She is caring because she had a younger sister but she was killed. She is very friendly because her mother kept her a secret but was never aloud to play with the other cubs.
History: Her father was ashamed that she wasn't a male so her mother kept her hidden away. She had a sister but when they were playing a bull water buffalo charged at them and he sister didn't make it out. She left the pride when she was a year old and has been a loner ever since.

Sarfina heard the call of a male lion and raced off after the call.

She called back to let the lion know where she was.

Nira raced after her mother.

Thistle stood up, his mane quivering. He let out another roar when he saw two females racing toward him. He shook out his mane and his tail curled up neatly as they approached. He smelt Nira and knew she was in heat, and he prepared to invite them into his pride.

Tip popped her head up above the grass, letting her eyes wander fairly briefly around the world above the grass. She let out a grunt-roar before disappearing again, letting her golden-tawny coat blend in with the grasses that surrounded her shape.
