Nelo
Nelo laid in the den, thinking of names and things for cubs. Suddenly a lioness came into the den and Nelo went to greet her, but all of a sudden realized it was Belle. A huge smile pulled across her face and the mother lioness went to lick her adult daughter. Already how she had seemed so much more grown up! "Belle!" She exclaimed. "How are you dear? Oh I've missed you!... How's Notch?" Nelo hoped that the two were still together, it was a comfort to know the two had each other. "Do you have a nice home?" The mother was bubbling with questions, elated with her daughters presence.
Notch
He watched his sister leave, a small grin fading across his face. He hoped the cubs would be safe and well. Notch wondered how his parents was, to be honest it felt a little odd that Belle could come but he couldn't. Yet he understood why. The large white lion walked towards the rocks that were so tight, it was probably best to get out of here now he didn't want to be stuck in a hole in the ground after all. With a shove Notch poked his head through, and a wriggle he got to the front of his shoulders. He braced himself and grunted, pushing forwards. Going up and out seemed even harder than going in! He grunted again, straining his large mass against the stony boulders. With sheer brute force Notch was able to get his shoulders through. There... halfway out. Now for the back half. His back legs scrabbled at the dirt, but everytime he pulled forwards he lost his footing to the loose surface. He got all the way to his hips before having to stop completely. How had he gotten in here?? Suddenly he felt very trapped. No matter how he tried he simply couldn't get the rest of his body out - Notch was stuck. The big Pride Lords was now a sitting duck in the savannah sunlight, no food or water or anything. He laid down best he could in his position, trying to tuck away from the suns' warm light. He frowned, worried that he wasn't going to get out at all.
