Mallis sighed, "I can't believe I missed it..I'm so sorry." he said to her. It was true, he was and he felt very bad for having to leave her. He felt so torn between the two lionesses but he was going to stay with Phoebe for a while now. He licked her cheek then looked down at the two cubs. He would hate to see the male leave one day, but he wanted to stay in this moment so he pushed the thought from his mind.

Tak flicked his tail from side to side anxiously. "So.." He said turning his head toward the ground. He wasn't sure what to do, he hadn't really been around other lions. He kept his head down but looked up with his eyes to see if the others were going to reply or react. For some reason he wasn't afraid or even nervous of the presence of both stranger lions, even though he knew he should be. Just part of my personality, I assume... Tak thought to himself.

Phoebe shook her head lightly at his apalogy, picking up her head to nuzzle her nose to his cheek gently. "Don't be sorry, it wasn't your fault that my cubs came early, the same day as Zaltana's. It was your duty to see how she and her cubs were, I understand." She said to him, softly pressing her nose to his lovingly. Gently placing her head on her paws, she flicked her ears forward and back, thoughts on Beau. "I'm going to hate to see him leave someday.." She said quietly. Then she looked up at Mallis and licked his muzzle. "Go back to Zaltana, Love. She needs you right now, I'll be fine for a bit."

Sano looked at the lioness, he rolled his shoulders and glanced back over at the other lion. "Mmm well nice to meet you both, Tak and Emmalia." He settled into a comfortable position and looked at them both. "What bring you guys out here?" He broke the silence that had fallen over them, tilting his head once agin.

Kazi turned the rock over in his paws, juggling it to keep his balance. "No. I plan on making a powerful pride that others respect." His eyes gleamed and he was taken back to the past. His father's pride, ah, how many a lion would've wished to govern that sight. He sighed contently and looked back at her. "What about you?"

Carthage shook her head. "I don't know." She said. "I don't want to wander the Savanna alone for the rest of my life,so I guess I need to find one to join..." The lioness sighed and looked up at Kazi. "There's safety in numbers,you know? And I don't want to have cubs with some random lion who just happens to wander by while I'm in heat."

Tak shrugged. "I haven't really ever left, I have been here since I was a cub." He looked down at himself. Her could see his ribs prominently under even his thick skin and muscle. "Wish my mother had been around longer though, mice are about the only thing I can catch." He smiled. "Never learned to hunt." He added. He went to sit down like the other lion but his should acted up again and pain struck through his shoulder and leg. He grimaced again and stood back up, his smile faded. Staying active on his should was only making it worse, but it hurt to sit down because of the way his should muscles pulled on the bones. Maybe i did break something. He wondered absently.

Inka stared after Phantom with regret, then continued licking the bite wound. If it got infected, it would be horrible. She made sure it was thoroughly washed, then laid her head on her paws, exhaling with exhaustion.

Quill looked panic stricken as she stared at one lion, then the other. "L-Landu, I want to.. want to go with Mti..." She backed up, her ears flattened and her fur bristling. She stood farther along the border, behind Mti. She murmured softly in his ear, "would you fight for me?" She looked tensely from one lion to the other, as if waiting for one to slash out. A fight seemed inevitable, but it was still possible no one would get hurt today... at least, not physically.

Kiana watched the male as he left, sighing lightly. Wow, she actually thought he was really attractive and differend, in a good way, and he was giving her the most fun she'd had for a while, and then he just walks away because he hears anouther lioness roar? That was just sad... Kiana lifted her head back and let a long, melodious roar escape her lips as she padded off in a random direction that she scented water in.
