Kazi decided that now she was standing, it'd be a good time to finally speak. "Good to see you're alive. Wouldn't want my efforts wasted." He silently chuckled and sat up, shaking his black mane. He had eaten about half of the leg and was satisfied for now.

Landu smiled and walked over to Quill, licking her on the forehead. "Well, come meet my other lioness. Her name is Tip." He brushed his muzzle along hers and flicked his tail at the cubs. He began to trot toward where he left Tip, calling in a low pitch to let her know he was coming back.

Blue felt unsure. The male seemed so forward and jumped ahead with these ideas, as though he were truly desperate or might grow aggressive any moment.
''I-I don't know... I'm still looking, I guess...'' She bowed her head to look at the ground, curling her tail neatly around her thigh. ''And my name is, erm, Blue. Just Blue.''

Tip's ears tweaked to the side. She let out a yawn before resting it back on her foreleg, gazing at the surface of the watering hole.
''Sounds like he's coming back...'' She murmured, unconcerned about her safety any longer. She had a pride now, hopefully one who'd be a little more caring and she for one was quite happy.

Akia let out a roar for any males that want more females. "I need a pride. Now." She walked through the brush and saw a Gazzel. She leaped onto it's back and snapped its neck. She ate her meal and continued on. She licked her lips and waited for a reply.

Kafue perked his ears to a roar of Kia's and then to the roar of another female. Wanting to go meet the other female first, Kafue roared back at Kia to let her know that he had heard her before he went off in the direction he thought he heard the female roar in. He responded to the female's roar with a roar of his own to let the female know that he was coming.

[The Lost Gremlin]

Lee stalked along the grassland, his head low in the grass. Around his neck he donned the foundation of his mane, marking the fact that he was now a young adult. Soon enough he would be able to form his own pride. The young male grinned to himself as he quickened the pace, feeling the sun warm his yellowish-white fur.

Nyani laid beneath the shelter of a group of baobab trees. In the trees above she listened to the busy chatter of several vervet monkeys. They were too high up for her to bother, but if one happened to jump down, she'd be on top of it with her jaws around it's head. As she lazed about, she began to wander how Lee was doing. When she realised he was gone, it hadn't worried her. Not really. He was old enough now to care for himself and she didn't want him around when she came into heat again and in search of a new pride.
