Kiamai heard the howl. Her ears perked up, and she stood up from the sand. The howl couldn't be all that far away. She shook the sand and water off her fur. She looked around trying to predict where the howl came from. She picked a direction and ran towards it. The sun hit her as she ran along the beach and out of the shadows, making her green eyes sparkle, and her coat shimmer. She ran and ran until she saw where the call had come from. She howled back in response to the wolves ahead of her.

Littleflight raced about his den, scattering herbs as he organized them and making a mess with the moss. It got tangled in his paws and he tripped, making a branch of berries spatter in his face. "Oof!"

Littleflight jumped up, wiping the berry juice off of his face as he heard the howl. Was someone injured. He howled for his apprentice.

Kiamai turned quickly. She heard another howl, only this one sounded like a call for help. She looked at the other wolves about 50 feet from her then towards where the howl came from. She cursed under her breath, "I'll just find them again later" she said to herself then darted off into the woods towards the call. She howled back letting them know she was coming, and where they were exactly.

Littleflight heard another call, this one for help. He pulled together some herbs and ran towards it. The Healer was light on his feet, and due to his tiny size could move easily through brush, hence the name Littleflight. He stopped to answer the call for help, asking them where they were.

"Okay, well let's go." Then another howl rang, causing Roseheart to jump up. "Let's go!" She said, beginning to run in its direction.
