Gamble stared blankly as he turned, sneezing quietly as be started to look for Lacey's foals.

Teh two foals lay thre, almost dead. They had been living from eating dirt and sipping from the grass. Grass.

Gamble whinnied softly as he approached the cove where he'd last seen the foals. He peered inside, looking at the two figures. He glanced behind him in Hachi and Queen Bee's direction before walking towards the foals, nudging their necks softly.

One of the foals twitched while the other laid there. It opened its maw, but nothing came out because the dryness.

Gamble twitched his ears as he nudged the one that hadn't moved once more. "Water. Come." He said plainly, swishing his yearling tail.
