I pricked my ears, though I didn't stop walking. My head swished every ten seconds, to remove the flies on my back and rears. It was hot in the sun, so I had searched for shadows, and found it in the large forest. My long manes still made it hot on my neck, but at least I was in the shadows. I knew I was getting closer... I knew it wasn't very... wise, but I had to stay in their area... It was safer. I hated it, but I had to think about my own safety.
I reached the edge of the forest, and saw them stand down there, the two of them. I kept in the shadows. Maybe they wouldn't see me, since they didn't look around very much. My bright, light colour made me good visible, though I had a good chance not to be seen. My manes were pretty striking, but they were on my other side. The small spot on my forehead was good visible also, but my forelock hang over it. If I didn't move they maybe wouldn't see me. There was no chance, or just a very small one, that they would notice me. I'd to stay in the shadows, but that was fine.
I flicked my ears around. Since I had followed them, I'd eaten less, since they travelled very far. I didn't even knew where I was. Though it would be wise to stay with them, not to go find out about the area...

The sun was hot. Very hot. Finally I reached the small lake, and I sighed. The way to the lake wasn't very long, it was just very tiresome. I drunk, then lied down next to the lake, just to rest. My head shot in the air when I heared a small snap of a twig behind me. A hog ran away. I let all the air in my lungs escape, since I kept it in, because I was scared. Slowly I calm down again, and I stand up. I'm not in for resting. Slowly I trot over to a small amount of bushes, and disappear.
