If she could have smiled, she would have. Despite feeling pressured by the stallion on that little trip over, Elianna was impressed with her new company - thus far, the mares had proved to be rather welcoming. With her ears pricked and a soft whiny she reached out to the blue roan mare with the red foal at foot. She extended her muzzle and breathed softly. With a soft tilt of her head she whickers to the youngster and paws the ground playfully. Just as playfully, she pretends to nip at her, hoping to incite a game. But the joyous moment is short lived, for there is trouble brewing. Trouble in the form of a competitor(well, for the golden stallion at least). Elianna's ears dive against her skull and her tail whips across her haunches. Skillfully she manouvers herself to the otherside of the foal (so the mare was on one side and she on the other). By the looks of it, the stallion was aiming for the mare that had trotted off on her own...but Elianna was more than aware of how quickly any stallion's intention could change and a stray hoof was never safe for a foal. To be honest, she didn't know the mare or the foal at all, but, they were her new 'family' and if she wanted to survive, well, they had to stick together right?
