Cassie lounged around in the forest, her coat gleaming as she layed in the sun. Her icey blue eyes shone brightly whenever she looked towards the direction of the light. She yawned and rolled onto her back, gazing up at the sky as fluffy, white clouds floated through it slowly.

Cassie soon became aware she wasn't alone after hearing deep breathing. She cocked her head to the side ever so slightly and saw a furry brown snowshoe rabbit snacking on some clovers beneath a nearby tree. She cracked a small smile and looked away, leaving the small hungry creature in peace.

Cassie was getting annoyed with the constant munching sound coming for the little brown rabbit. She let out a small warning growl, which sent the bunny bolting towards it's home. She smiled a little wider and got up, steadily walking down towards an open area she thought may have elk in it.

[Sorry for slow replies. I have a ton of homework tonight & my parents are restricting my time on the computer because they think I'm on too much. >.<]

Carson was well into the pack lands, with the hopes of joining. But she was weak, and her strength was failing her. She hadn't seen hide nor hair of prey in days, even though her appetite seemed to be lacking. With a soft cry of surprise her legs gave way beneath her and she lay still in the ever darkening forest, eyes half-closed, flanks rising and falling with every shallow breath. She whimpered softly and allowed her eyes to close.

Huttser flicked his ears and looked around. He could smell the pack borders nearby, and his fur rose with excitement. This was the first pack he'd come across in a long time, and by judging what he could gleam from their scent markers they seemed to be a suitable pack. His ears flicked once more, a sign of his brief indecision before he hesitantly crossed over, into their land.
