Tulip sat a short distance away from the other wolves, eying them with longing. She pulled back her ears gently and dipped her head to every passing wolf. Tulip was terribly afraid of offending someone. She glanced at a single scar running down her side and grimaced. Many wolves had picked on her, and she had been too afraid to challenge them. She shook her head miserably as she thought of all the times she had been shown her place in the pack. At least she was allowed to remain a member...

Timber sat on the opposite side of the camp, his head held high. He watched the bustle of the camp with little interest. Deep inside he wished he had friends to chat with and brag to, but it seemed most wolves generally avoided him. He stretched, hunger clawing at his belly. When would the hunters go out and bring food? He glanced at Bear and gave him a curt nod. Not many wolves were hanging around the camp.

Sat on alpha rock. His tail held high and his ears pricked. He was beta not alpha. But the pups weren't exactly the age to rake over his position in command. He watched valley pack closely. He yawned, his stomach grumbling. He jumped from the rock in a flying leaf and landed. He nodded to a few pack.members and trotted into the forest to hunt.
