Adventure Bound (Dog Rp)

"How long have you been here?" she asked happily.

"A day." He said, looking around. "And you?" He asked, finally focusing. "Oh, Lise, how did you get here anyway?"

(( Guys, here's a backstory for Bentley: Bentley hid in the tunnel, knee deep in the water collected from sewage plants. It smelled bad, but looked worse. Rats scurried along the sides of the cylinder concrete tunnel, feeding onto the streets from drain holes. Cockroaches moved their feelers along the debris, crawling into any space they could. Bentley shook the water from his fur with a whimper that echoed through the endless tunnel. As he took a nervous breath, a bark resounded from the other end of the tunnel.

Bentley stood in a defensive stance, his right paw a good distance away from his left. His hackles rose as a dark silhouette moved like a shadow toward him. “I mean no harm, I’m one of you.” The deep voice came closer to Bentley. As the shadow moved closer, the form of a large yellow dog took the place of the silhouette. “I’m Hatch, and this is my home. What brings you here?” The dog, Hatch, asked. “My human dumped me onto the streets. I was hungry, thirsty and tired for about 3 days. Then, a storm blew me into the town above us, and the ground became slippery. When I walked along a long, gray road, a truck splashed me and I fell into a drain hole.” Bentley said with a shiver.

“So you’ve come a long way, my friend. You must be hungry.” Hatch said with a twitch of his floppy ear. “I have, and yes, I’m very hungry.” Bentley replied with a hopeful glance. “What’s your name kid?” Hatch asked, looking toward the pup. “Bentley, my name is Bentley.” The pup said, almost as if he himself had forgotten. “Nice name. Now, back to the food subject, do you like rats?” Hatch joked. “Rats? Gross!” Bentley retorted, scrunching his muzzle up. “Kidding, kidding,” Hatch replied, obviously amused, “How about a rabbit? They taste good.” Bentley watched curiously as Hatch padded towards a hole on the side of the tunnel. “Eat up.” Hatch said, throwing the rabbit at Bentley. “Thanks.” He sputtered before tearing the rabbit open and devouring it. )) (P.S.- Hatch helped him out of the sewer, of course)

Lisette;;
"This morning," she replied. "I was born in the desert. My mother left me when I was really young. I didn't know until Alastair told me what had happened. I took him as my father and mentor and he raised me until a week ago. He went to sleep and didn't wake up again. I don't know why. I miss him though."

Marijn

Marijn searched the desert desperately. The long he left his sister unintended, the more desperate he got. It was then he spotted two dogs. A black Shepherd and a very big male next to her. A Mastiff or a Newfoundland perhaps? He staggered over to the two. "Hey..where can I find food and water around here?" he said meekly. He must have looked like a rec to them. Marijn thought grimly that if they said there is nothing around he would make a desperate attempt to kill the pretty shepherd and drag her back without being killed by the bigger dog. He knew he was close enough to death to try anything at this moment, even cannibalism.

[Distant_Hybrid]

"You know, I was born into a nice, big family. The house was warm, and I was even allowed on the furniture! Then, they had a little human named Casey. Even though Casey pulled my ears and tail, I still loved him. One day, I came back from the groomer's, and there were boxes everywhere. I couldn't understand what was happening. Then, I went for a car ride in a huge van. I sat with the boxes. It was hot, hotter than it is out here, and not to mention uncomfortable. When we stopped, I could hear loud booms and shouting. I saw a sliver of light at the large door, and then there he was, my owner. And he had a biscuit. When he fed it to me, he had a sort of distressed look on his face. I knew something was wrong. When I looked back, I was shoved into a dark crate, and taken inside. People were everywhere. Most were talking on a phone. After a while, I was taken up these stairs thet you didn't have to walk up, they moved on there own. I could tell when my owner passed my cage to someone else, because the stranger handled it roughly. I was thrown in something that looked like our moving van, but had an assortment of other pets, mostly dogs. When we stopped after what seemed like forever, The big door flew open. The man got the cats first, then the dogs. The dog beside was a huge rottweiler named Spike; he was alot friendlier than he sounds. When Spike was grabbed, it busted the lock on my cage. Getting out, three men tried to grab me. I ran from them, all the way down the moving stairs and out the door. When I got out, I knew I wasn't home. There was sand everywhere, not to mention lizards. Though I was scared, I kept walking. Then, suddenly, it started to rain. I was walking along a road when I fell into the drain hole. It was dark and it smelled bad. There were rats and cockroaches all around me. Then, I heard a voice. It was Hatch. He fed me and made sure I was alright, then we left. We came out up the ravine over there, and I've been here ever since." Bentley replied. (No more writer's block!!!)

Hatch looked at the strange dog curiously. "Hello, I'm Hatch. If you're hungry or thirsty you've come to the right place. I'm sure I can muster something up." Hatch said, going into his den. "Here." He said, tossing him a plump jack rabbit. "Thirsty? Here's some moss." Hatch sai, dropping it near him.

"This Hatch dog sounds like a nice dog," she replied kindly. "I'm rather sad that happened to you. My mother just up and left. We have no idea what happened."

.:Lucrezia
The wolf-looking dog trotted over a hill and spotted three dogs. Her instincts took over and she dropped low, trying to avoid sight. She fought them off quickly and stood once more, eyeing the group warily. Since when were there others in the desert? It was a strange concept for her.

[Timey]

Jazz took a look at the dog that had just walked up and cringed. He looked like a mess. "Poor guy," She thought. But she couldn't say anything, because she too was very skinny. But she had a lot of muscle from being a police dog, so it made her look well fed. She looked around at the other dogs, and tried to take the whole scene in.

Just a few mintues ago, she had been wandering the desert, alone. As she had been for almost 2 and a half years. And now, here she was, with other dogs, lots of them. Okay maybe not a lot of dogs but it seemed like a lot after being on her own for so long. She found herself wagging her tail and giving a cheerful bark.

Marijn

Marijn tackled the rabbit the minute it touched the ground. He took a couple ravenous bites when he remembered his sister. He made sure to drink as little of the water as possible too. He shakily stood up, strength already returning he bowed his head, ears and tail in a submissive position. He gave a soft bark in return to the pretty shepherd. "Thank you Hatch very much! Words cannot describe my gratitude... My sister is on her last legs right now and I really needed to find food and water for her." He explained somewhat embarrassed.

[Distant_Hybrid]

"You eat and drink these, and you're sister can have her own, tell her to come, too." Hatch said with a smile. "And don't worry about it." Ha said, wagging his tail.

"Sorry to hear that." Bentley replied. He looked into the distance, remembering how efensive to Hatch he had been

[Timey]

Jazz ran around, saying hello to all of the other dogs. Her tail wagging a smile a minute, And a huge smile on her face. The little Shepard was obviously thrilled to be surronded by other canines. And she bounded around like a pup. Though she basically was a pup at heart, she always had been and she always would be. It was just who she was.
