Black snorted, rearing again. She screamed, her shoulder in pain. Blood stained her hoofs, and blood slowly streamed down her shoulder, a cut 4 inches wide visible. She lunged at his neck, trying to bite it. She snorted, I won't go down that easily!! Her blue eyes burned with rage.

She screamed, stumbling dangerously. She slammed into the ground hard. She felt the blood roar in her ears, pushing her legs to drag her one ton body to fight more. Her tired muscles screamed for mercy, but she wouldn't give them that break. She felt the pain crease her back, edge toward her other bones and muscles. The advantage of racing, pushing her body to the limit, would be this for a stallion; fighting until one dies or backs away, fighting until their heart is wrenched away from their chest cavity, fighting until they couldn't move any longer, fighting until their heart exploded. She was panting hard, but it was regular for a race mare like Black Shadow. She was overly used to it. She rose up, and brought her hooves down upon the Stallion's head and shoulder, hoping this would be the last move given, she rested her weary legs, but didn't allow her senses and guard down, allow them a break like her muscles screamed and begged for.
