Black Shadow

Black Shadow stood in her pasture, her head lowered, her teeth slicing through grass, knocking gently against her bottom teeth with a small click. She heard something in the pasture over one. She lifted her ebony head, her mane blowing into her eyes. Between the strands of pitch black hair, she saw a couple of horses messing around, one fell after the male kicked her, then a girl came into the picture. Black moved slowly to the gate, her black eyes searching the pasture. She saw the girl fall, hit her head or something, but she didn't get back up. Black backed up, then bolted to the fence, clearing it. She galloped so swiftly it was like a lightning bolt in the sky, one second you see it, now you don't.. She reared at the stallion, her might rising high into the sky, her mane and tail flying wildly around her. Her front hoofs rose with her, pawing in the air, barely missing the stallion's skull. Her teeth bared, her blood curtailing screech split the cool air. She pulled her head back, glaring at the stallion with a fire burning with the heat of a million flames. She lowered her head, her teeth bared. She had always fought like she was a stallion, as if it depended on her life. Her muscles, well formed from racing, were not bulging like you would see if she was running. She was well defined for a filly 17.3hh tall. Her black eyes held something more than hatred. She had always hated stallions. She said, lowly, cruelly, Leave her alone unless you want to be bleeding a lot more than you already are. She noted the blood oozing from his leg where a bite mark shown clearly. She didn't care about the human, she was dead for all Black cared.
