She swept her eyes across the soggy land and looked in the reeds for nests.

Diamond- Perked her ears as she hears quacking. "I hear them!" She howled, and starts running that way.

Ruby nodded, more trusting now she knew the dog wasn't just fattening her up. "Well I'm really glad you did. In case you didn't guess I'm not exactly... accustumed to being a stray yet. But I guess I'll have to." She spoke more to herself in the last sentence, the sadness finally setting in. I can never go home. Well, actually, I have nowhere to call home now.

Worm got excited at the thought of her own little duckling. She rushed over to where Diamond was standing. Beneath her was a small, yellow and brown furred duckling. It let out a small squek and she smiled. "Wings" she murmered and bent her head to grasp the small creature lightly in her jaws.

Roxanne- She nodded, feeling bad for Ruby, she's been in the same spot. Being new to the whole stray life. "I've been a stray for about two years now." That's not really something she's happy about.

Diamond- She wags her tail happily. "Now we both have ducklings!" She said excitedly, then looking up at Ducky that's laying on her head.
