River and Will
River was sitting on the nice park grass, watching her brother trying desperately to pull the collar off of his neck. He whined at his useless attempts."Stop whining!" River growled "Whining is for pups! We should've dealt with this the minute it happen. Here, let me try." Her brother quickly backed away from her, his ears and tail lowered in fear. "No your too rough! You'll make it worse!" he whined.
A week ago, Will, a white shepherd mix got a collar put on him when he was begging for food from a human. The human had put the collar on quiet tight before Will escaped. At first it didn't bug him but now the collar had embedded itself into his neck and infection was starting to kick in.
River showed her teeth. "You know for someone so smart your quite dumb when it comes to humans! Maybe this will teach you not to be so friendly to them! Now come here! The sooner it comes off the better!" she said and took the collar in her mouth and started yanking it, causing Will to yelp in pain. River immediately let go, not wanting to cause her brother such pain. "Look," Will said calmly as he scrambled into a sitting position "we just need to find a sharp enough object to cut it." Seeing Will regaining his calm and smart nature relaxed River. "Right! We'll start looking around the park first, then head our way to the streets if we cant find anything." She said with her ears and tail held up high as she took the lead.
