Oli stayed rolled onto her back, paws on her belly. Finally she got up and waddled over to Solar laying down beside her, snuggling into her fur. With a yawn, Oli laid her head down on the ground putting her nose into Solar's fur around her arm then closed her eyes. Taking long blinks they finally shut and she fell asleep.

Solar looked at the two cubs then to Nalia. "Looks like their all tuckered out." She said with a little chuckle and smile. Her tail patted the ground as she laid her head on her paws. Thinking of something to say to break the sudden silence, she finally got something to mind. "So, if you're will to tell, where exactly did you live before coming to here?"

Shera looked up at Neferi as she moved away and then to the other cub. Her eyes drifting off him, she spotted the big lion staring at her. Crouching to the ground staying low and quiet, she started to shake a little. Crawling slightly, Shera tried to hide behind Neferi but her efforts went out the door as Roko was making his way towards her.

Roko looked at Neferi then the cub. His eyes narrowed as he focused on her and got to his paws. Walking towards Shera, he stopped when he was towering over her. With a unexpected move, he licked the scared cubs forehead to reassure her. Looking from the cub to Neferi he spoke, his voice deep and booming. "Where'd you find her?"

Neferi blinked down at Shera and then returned her gaze to Roko's. "Out on the plains, no where near the river if your're thinking she's from River Pride. Their scent isn't on her anways. She says she doesn't know where her mother is. Her name is Shera," Neferi stated, calmer now that she knew Roko was unlikely to be upset with her. Her ears flicked and she looked down at Pax as he inched nearer and flopped down between her paws.

Roko nodded "I see." Looking from Neferi to Shera, he sat down and smiled. "Well you're more than welcome to stay here with us." He said to her before a thought came to his mind. "Well, she's going to need a guardian." He said out loud when he meant to think that in his mind.

Shera said nothing just stayed the exact same as she was before. Her nervousness was acting in a major way on her and this prevented her from moving any further. She wanted to just run off but the thought of being in a pride again set into her mind. "I-I'll stay ..." She said making up her mind then looking at Roko when he said that statement out loud.

Neferi was in the middle of giving Pax a good grooming when Roko spoke. She paused mid-lick for a split second. "I suppose I could, unless you want to, or unless you want to have another lioness claim her, seeing as how I already have Pax," she said thoughtfully, after a long moment glancing down at PAx who was dozing, eyes half closed with his head on one of her paws.

Seeing her chance, Shera got to her paws and acting upon her fear, darted off towards the rocks. She had no idea where she was really going but jumping and climbing up she spotted a entrance that was rather tight. Squeezing her body into the opening she stayed there laying down in the small space that was available. Both her sides touched the walls of this spot as she peered out of the opening. Her ears flat against her head and the fur around her neck bristled a little, she was confined.

Roko thought for a second "Well, I'm not at all up for raising a youngster yet so I'm out and it's up to you if you want to take her under your wing. If not then we can find another that will hopefully take her in." He said before looking back to Shera. Seeing that she was gone, his ears perked up and he looked around for her. Sniffing the ground where she was, her scent did linger but the cold air that was drifting from the approaching storm was dulling it.

Neferi looked up and noticing that Roko was looking around she glanced around, wondering what he was looking for. When she realized it was the cub she rose to her paws and returned Pax to the den before bounding back down the rocks and heading towards the pride leader. "Where do you think she ran off too?" She asked, voice fused with worry. She glanced at the sky.

When Shera saw a paw step right in front of her hiding spot she let out a small growl that lasted only seconds before it stopped. She tried to back further into the spot but with no success. It was too shallow and cramped to go any further.

Roko looked at Neferi. "I don't know. But I hope she didn't go to the river. It's not safe at all for a cub to be out here alone at this time as well as when a storms coming." He said as the thought of crocodiles coming out at the rains arrival. "She shouldn't have gotten too far." Roko said as he started to walk looking over the grass in the distance looking for any movement.

Pax had tumbled out of the den almost as soon as Neferi set him down, despite his mother's instructions to stay put. He wanted to get a better look at the cub. He paused when he heard the little growl, in a spot where neither his mother or Roko had looked and were heading away from. Crouching down he tried to fit his head inside, but couldn't quite make it. As a result only his nose and mouth were visible. "Hullo-o-o?" He sang out, and then giggled to himself.

Neferi bounded through the grass searching hopelessly. She branched away from Roko but then circled back when there was no sign of the cub. "What will we do if we can't find her before the storm hits?' She asked, worriedly, with a slight frown, whiskers quivering. She sighed softly and scanned the area once more to no avail.

Startled from the surprise that wasn't expected, she jumped and as a result hit her head on the top rock above her. Pushing her paw on Pax's nose pushing it out the entrance, she squeezed her self out leaving a few strands of her sandy spotted pelt of the edging. "Uh .... hi ..." She said as she looked at Pax and hand a paw on the spot of her head that was bumped.

Pax bobbed his head up and down, then rolled on his back and pawed at the sky before rolling on his side and looking up at her. "Hullo!" He said in a mock deep voice, ears flicking. He grinned, revealing a row of little white teeth. "I'm Pax." He stated firmly, pretending to be gruff.
