Sheik sighed, lifting his head. He looked at Luhua, with his blind eye closed. He was crouching near the cub, keeping it warm. "What do we do..." he asked softly, worry showing through his voice. He glanced at the cub again, pinning his ears.

[bonjour.]

Instead of saying the only option, Luhua just shrugged. "I..I. Don't know. " She was a sucky lier, and knew Sheik would see right through her stammering. Looking down at the cub, she licked one of it's ears, realizing it had fallen asleep.

Alura prowled through the forest, her scars dark against her coat, her grey eyes shining. She stopped frozen as a hair crossed in front of her. Her breathing and heart slowed, then she pounced as it came in range, only she didn't land on a warm-bodied hare, only cold worthless snow, she growled, and sliced at the snow, and continued on her eyes tracing her environment, through upset she wasn't eating dinner.

Sheik pricked his ears. He tilted his head a bit "It sounds like you know something..." he said softly, flicking his tail. He felt slightly nervous. If Luhua didnt want to say it, then she must not like the idea....he pinned his ears, watching her.

Luhua flicked her round ears, lifting her head from the cub and shaking it. "Nope." she said quickly, glancing at Sheik before picking up the cub by the scruff. Carrying it to the warmer part of the den, the female padded away and sat down outside the den, cool wind washing over her.

Alura continued to prowl. Look for any prey that could be near by. Her stomach began to rumble, and she was getting very hungry, and need water.

Sheik sighed, looking at the cub. It was so helpless, and they couldnt do anything to help it. Well, obviously Luhua knew something, but if she didnt want to say it....it made him nervous again. What wouldnt she want to say...? He went to move, but hissed and fell. His leg was throbbing in pain, and he winced. Maybe he overworked it already...

Luhua looked inside the den, before padding over to Sheik. "You okay?" she asked, concern showing in her blue eyes as she sat in front of the collapsed male.

He blinked, forcing himself to sit, and sighed "Yeah, im fine. Just my leg. I may have overworked it already..." he shook his head "But thats not important." he looked at the cub, concern and fear showing in his eyes. Both of them.

Luhua nodded. "Oh well, just watch out for it then." she said, then looked towards the sleeping cub, watching it's small sides rise and fall, ribs flashing to her like a stab of guilt. "It's so small." she whispered, shaking her head.
