Calypso, although shy, was curious also about this cub, never having seen another Amur leopard except for herself and he mother. "H-Hi!" she stuttered.
Shariki smiled at the cub. "Why don't you come with me, and we will get you something to eat Trutsky?" She knew in the back of her mind that she couldn't take care of two cubs, she could hardly feed herself and Calypso as it was, but she could sure try.

Trutsky padded forward, nosing Calypso. "Hello." When the mother spoke, he looked up at her. "I suppose... But I could hunt something myself!" he said quickly with a nod. "Mama teaches--" he paused. "Taught me real well."
