[Right, so I'm actually getting really excited for this roleplay! I've always loved wolves and hated the unrealistic aspect of most wolf roleplays so this is perfectly suited to me <3 But I'll warn you guys now that I haven't actually been part of a wolf RP before, they never made it to my standards So yah! Super excited to get going on this one <3]

-- For being so late in the morning it was still rather dark. Thrush had decided he liked it that way though, at least he himself felt like it gave everyone an excuse to move slower. He padded back towards what had become their 'home base' slower than average, having gone out looking over their boundaries over the morning. There weren't any threats to it of course, he'd always felt pleased with how sheltered a territory he had picked for them, but that was just what an alpha did.
For as long as he could remember there were just things that he had seen his own father - and the scant few other alphas he had come in contact with - do. There never seemed to be a reason behind a lot of them either, but Thrush was determined to get it all right down to the last detail, even when it all made him feel completely lost.
Now wasn't exactly one of those times, though it seemed that simple feeling was always teetering over some metaphorical cliff, slinking up the back of the rock that had become his perch, over looking the rest of the pack. His pack. This was what everyone always wanted, a pack of their own, a family of their own, and little old Thrush had finally gotten it. It was something to be proud of, in spite of the feeling that he shouldn't really have any of it. Being the smaller, inferior, younger brother had ingrained the idea deep into his head.

(Ooookay, that could have been better, but like everyone's saying, havent played a wolf in ages and I need to get into character )
