Ceres folded her wings and fell away from the kestrel, glaring at him. "Your not in this fight," she snapped. "I wasn't going to hurt you before, I'm not going to hurt you now." She missed Ever and saw the blur of a red tail and a sudden pain of her underbelly. She shrieked a Swainson's ear-piercing shriek and took off after Ever.

Demon Swooped At Her Back With His Claws "But You Hurt The Bird Over There...So Its Fair."He Says Taunting Her

"No! She's fighting me for territory! This isn't your fight," snapped the Swainson's as she turned back to Ever.

Silently rejoicing that she had found her mark,Ever backed away a bit,knowing it was Ceres' turn to attack.The kestrel was attacking Ceres,though.She wasn't backing down,but she also couldn't let anyone but her take Ceres' attacks. "She's right.It's my fight.No one can be hurt for me," Ever said,readying herself.

Ceres nodded, her white underbelly feathers stained red, trying to ignore the pain. She spread her wings to full length and folded, aiming for Ever's right wing.

Demon Fell Back Landing On The Low Branch Of A Oak Cleaning Himself...

Ever,infortunatley,was not quick enough and took the full blow to her wing.For a moment,she was unable to move,and then she suddenly knew she had to fly.Flapping as hard as she could,she struggled to stay in the air.After a minute,she gave up and started plummeting down,calling helpessly.

[*QUIT*]

Claw swooped down to Ever and grabbed her around her chest. His talons firmly had her in his grip. He flew to a tree hollow and placed her gently inside, "quite a blow you took, but I couldn't let you die." His talons landed inside the hollow with a soft 'phew'.

Breathing heavily,Ever said, "Thank you.I-I should never have challenged her.She's older and more experienced.I guess I'm a little over-confident," Ever said,looking up at him and then at her wing, "I guess it's pretty bad," she said,wincing.

Ceres turned to gliding above them, watching with her dark brown eyes as the falcon grabbed Ever. She watched for a bit before turning and gliding away slowly, her wing and underbelly painful.
