Shadow dropped he head over Taylor's shoulder and rested it there.

King stopped running and came back to the fence where Jake was.

Shadow bobbed her head even though she didn't know what they were talking about.


King nuzzled his hand and then looked over his shoulder at his back the looked at Jake again.


Alex watched Taylor then said, "Lightfoot let me get up on him bareback earlier. I think he is ready for a saddle."

Aliaya saw a ranch. Trotting closer but out of reach, she looked at the horses inside and felt somewhat sorry for them, them being confined and all.

"Cool!" Tayor said, "We could saddle train him now, if you want."
Jake smiled and continued to stroke King

Alex grinned, “Sure, that’s a good idea. Then you can work with Shadow afterwards if you’re not too tired.” She started walking back to the barn with Taylor to get the stuff they needed.

Shadow whinnied after them then began grazing.

King whinnied in Taylor’s direction and bobbed his head at Jake.

Alex walked into the tack room and looked around. “My saddle is a good one to start with, it’s pretty light.”

King reared, Jake wasn’t getting his message.

"That's a good idea." Taylor said
"What?" Jake asked King

Alex lifted her saddle and thick saddle blanket off of her rack and started carrying it towards the pasture. Then she stopped, “Taylor, can you get his halter and lead rope of the hook on his stall? Then we can put him in the small corral.”

King pointed with his nose to Alex carrying the saddle. The he snorted and pawed the ground.
