Wildfire trotted to the watering hole, his ebony coat glistening. When he reached the water, he thirstily drank, swishing his tail.

Riversong stretched as she walked alongside the river.

Wildfire stopped drinking and grazed, his ears flicking. The water rippled beside him.

Rain grinned. "Great! Another mare." She whickered happily.

Mystic moved even closer, her nostrils flared at her surroundings. "Are we safe now?" She asked Sum and Athena.

Fox smiled at Rain "Thank you" she whinnied. "Well what shall we do now?" she asked.

Rain shrugged. "I suppose we have to get back to everyone." She looked up to Parousia, for further orders.

Fox nodded "Okay that sounds good" and bent her head down to nibble on some of the grass.

I was walking ever so slowly . . . tired, I leaned slightly on Pozar as I walked, my eyes half-shut. I flicked my tail, spreading my heat scent, and winced. I didn't want another foal . . . but I knew I had to have one sometime soon. I sighed audibly.

Parousia nodded in agreement. They really should return. He turned and walked back towards the herd, letting Rain and Fox freely follow.

Athena stuck close to Sum, tail relaxing as they seemed safer.

Rai wandered farther and farther from the herd until pain shot through her. She snorted and sunk to the ground. Fades to black. After a hard but surprisingly quick birth Rai was laying on her side with a colt in the grass next to her. She didn't lift her head when the foal started to try and stand and she hardly reacted when it succeeded in standing. It was only when the little thing fell on top of her did she react by weakly struggling away from him and standing shakily, her leg that she had fallen on during the earthquake nearly giving out. She stood and refused to look at the foal as he wobbled up to her and began to suckle. Her flank twitched at his soft muzzle and she snorted quietly. Finally when he was biting at her hocks she turned to look at him.

Anguis had avoided many of the other stallions blows. He rolled his eyes and walked toward the little band again.


Ebony went and weaved among his mares, their heat scent already tickling his nose.

Salin romped around outside his father's cave then tripped slightly as he misjudged the distance of a log he was jumping.
