☄Story:

On this roleplay you are a polar, grizzly, or black bear living your life. You must survive the unknown. Every year the polar bear's ice-cycle is getting shorter and shorter. They must figure out why! For the grizzlies, trains are invading there lands and taking away there homes and ruining the air. The black bear's precious trees are getting cut down more and more. Which means their homes and shelters are detierioating. Who knows how long these bears can hold out! They just come back every year to the gathering place hoping for change....

Star Gazers- They are Elders that study the stars and pass on there stories to cubs and younger bears. So only if your bear is 15+ years old!

Messengers- Tell things to the bears at the gathering place by shouting them out on a high rock. There is only three. Male or Female. 7+ years old. (i.e. Rouges coming, fight breaking out, food getting low.)

Mothers and Preganant- Females that are pregnant or already with cubs.

Cubs- Young bears. Newborn - 2 years old.

Adult Males- Matured males that can breed. 6 - 14 years old.

Adult Females- Matured females that can breed. 4 - 14 years old.

Adolescents- Young bears that just parted from there mother or still haven't matured. Can't breed yet. They are very wreckless! 2 1/2 - 3 years old Females. 2 1/2 - 5 years old Males. ***

Personality: Nisa is a strong, independent, witty she-bear. She doesn't let any bear push her around, male or female. Even though she has just matured. She eats any chance she gets, and isn't afraid to steal other bear's kill. She's stubbon and doesn't want cubs. Even though she knows she would make a great mother.
History: Nisa was not taught very much. She learned almost everything she knows from Elders and herself. Her mother was killed by a walrus trying to catch a baby walrus for Nisa to eat. That's really the only thing her mother taught her.. Not to mess with protective mother walruses! She has a male hot on her trail and she thinks she might not get this year without cubs.

Personality: Kuruk is a mostly laid back male. Not like most. Also not like most, has only mated twice. He can get bored easily and often tries to climbs trees (Not smart. The tree usualy falls over!).
History: Kuruk got a patch of forest and moved away from his mom before her was matured. Now he finally has a big area to own and hopes he can find more females in the spring. Last year at the gathering place he was told he was accepted to me a Messager for this upcoming gathering. He is still not sure if he will do it.

Update! 5/31/11
It is now spring. There is still not much food or water for the grizzlies and black bears, but the animals are starting to come out. They are now awake from hibernation. But the polar bears are and have been thriving. It is snowing hard and is very dark in Polar bear region. Cloudy in Grizzly region. Foggy and cloudy in Black bear region. It is dusk.
