Neptune stepped tentatively out of the cave, looking back and forth, she'd been there a few days, hiding after her escape. She saw no trace of the humans she'd been hiding for and she needed to eat. She walked out and hugged the cliffs as she walked along the beach, looking fearfully at the choppy waves. After a moment she found a path leading up the cliffs and followed it up, the weight of her unborn foal slowing her down. She finally reached the top and pulled herself over the edge, she looked down at the ground panting for a moment.

"Sure, anything for my mare." Siskin said mischeviously. He pranced off to a patch of grass and started eating, then he winked at Maria.

Vireo looked around in the forest. she was grazing when she heard something. 'A cougar!' She though in her head, but the footsteps sounded too heavy for that. "Hello? anybody there?" She heard loud breathing, and though they might need help.

maira rolled her eyes laughing and trotted over to him. She nibbled on some grass beside him and smiled closing her eyes happily.

War smiled. As he looked at her as she talked he couldn't help how pretty she looked when her forelock fell around her face...He reached up and took an apple from the tree and enjoyed it's tasty sweetness.

He just couldn't seem to take his eyes off her..

Pipit looked at War. "What are you looking at?" She said seriously, but started laughing to show she was joking. She nipped him playfully in the chest and trotted to a farther tree.

Siskin laughed at Pipit. "I honestly don't know what that stallion could be thinking of about her right now." He told Maria, smiling.

Maria looked from the stallion to Pipit. "I think i know" she said realizing the lovestruck face. She smiled and nibbled a bit of Siskins mane playfully.

War blushes for being so obvious. He chased after her...It almost felt like his old home, being accepted and noticed. He rushed up to her and quickly tagged her...He didn't think she could catch him...*Says in a loud and playful Voice* "Catch me if you can." Ha Ha

For a moment he let go of the anguish of his pain and anger and was living in the moment (Who knows, Pipit might be good for him.)

Pipit laughed and chased after him. She couldn't run very fast, but she tried. She got close enough to just barely nip the end of his tail and pull it. She let go then ran to hide behing a cluster of apple trees.

Siskin looked at the pair. "You know, I think they look pretty good together." He said, considering the pros and cons if his cousin decided to leave.

"Seems like they really love each other." SHe siad softly. She pawed the ground and looked at the sky.

"ya" Siskin said, trying to sound happy, but a little down he'd be losing his closest friend. 'stop being so selfish. atleast shes happy with him.' He though to himself.
