The fillys ears twitched as she thought she heard her name. Blue eyes darting about not really catching who had mentioned her though she was immediately distracted as a feather floated down landing on her nose causing her to sneeze and start chasing the feather about.

”When the time comes, we can discuss more on that subject.” she said. As much as she would love to have one of her own, she wanted to wait for the right moment. At the moment she was busy with raising Isa and also leading the herd. Even though Isa was pretty much grown, Oriana knew that there was still more for her to learn as time passed.


Solaris headed off to check out the perimeter of the territory. The stallion cantered off and began to search for any other horses. Solaris scanned the area, looking for others. Soon he came to a stop and spotted some horses. The young horse came to a halt, nostrils flared as he eyed the other horses carefully. He wasn’t the lead stallion but he still took his duty as a “guard” to the herd seriously.


“Yes, that would probably be the cause. But my adoptive mother was a kind old soul and I’m grateful that she taught me all that she knew before I took off.” he said and it pained him to see the look on his adoptive mother’s face as he escaped from the barn and took off into the night. He could still imagine her face, the look in her eyes. He hated it. It was a painful thought for him to even think about.

He looked to the way where the silent filly was and then turned to his twin sister "Seriously how do you not know her?" he asked her "Well it's not like I am being spoken with her much either, she seems to come and go on somewhere. She looked at him "I see, you're going to challenge the herd leader if your mate is there? But I do feel that that herd is different as I do scent way too many stallions compared to the mares" she said to him. They looked at the stallion and Sugarmane, hearing the whinny too "Well if they're alert of use then we may need to act more carefully around now, no too hurried movements" they said flicking their tail. There was not that much wood ahead of them, so they could see the grassy fields, but not yet any horses, maybe there was a little bit of a downhill there.

He flicked his ears a little bit when his mother mentioned not to risk his life, why joining a possible herd could risk his life. He didn't understand it, but he didn't bother to ask about it either.

Raine quickly grew bored of the feather letting out a sigh she stomped the poor thing into the ground. Blue eyes flicking around in search of something to keep her occupied for the time being though as she heard her name coming from another filly she peered over at the other foals head tilted in question though she refused to approach them without them inviting her over.

The light brown stallion blew some air out of his nostrils. He said "If I had to, I would indeed fight, but you're saying there's other stallion scents. Which means it's...not like a regular herd. That's interesting, could be nice to join them. I'm sure they're all happy there, especially the mares. They wouldn't have to all be mates with just one stallion. Though that's usually how it goes, but I'm sure they're happy if it's not like that there." He then looked and saw a stallion watching them.

Of course, they'd have to try for it, and that didn't mean she'd get pregnant. It could take several tries to actually take.

The blue and brown eyed colt looked to the two as well. "Yeah, she does stay at the outskirts of the herd, and I don't understand why...Maybe she misses her parents? He then looked over as he watched his son a moment. "I think I saw Solaris going that way, Oriana must have sent him to scout or whatever. I suppose I could go too. Solaris may want to just do it alone," he said. He shook his head and looked towards where the other stallion had gone off to.

The colt flicked his tail and twitched his ears. "Yeah, she does seem to always be off on her own, like she doesn't like us...I guess she could be missing her parents." He wasn't so sure, as he'd seen her get distracted by that feather, so maybe...maybe she wasn't thinking much at all.

The fiery but sweet little thing said "Oh, that's sad...Could you have brought her with you?" she asked the stallion. Maybe his mother had been too old, or he'd worried about taking her with him. She'd seen an older mare here, that had looked twenty. If she had to guess, she'd guess that mare was twenty. She'd thought the mare had looked pretty sweet and kind. She needed to go talk to her, and get to know her. She focused on Anzar, asking "Is there...anything you want to ask me, by the way? Since we're supposed to get to know each other. I've really just been asking about you. You could ask me stuff too," she said. She twitched her ears and flicked her tail back and forth, nostrils flaring some.

She tilted her head a bit, confused how a foal couldn't want to be around other foals. Shaking her head, she straightened up. She twitched her ears, flicking her brushy little tail. "Maybe we could go ask her to play with us. I mean...we don't have to, if you don't think she'll listen or play with us."

The new gelding doesn't really seem to be doing anything...He must have noticed Solaris going there too. One stallion should be enough to handle it. Maybe Hallow will go out there to help too, though, but I'm not sure. He's over there talking to Magnolia," she said. She then secretly hoped one of the newcomers might be Tarro, wanting Lumina to be happy.

The dun mare blinked and made an amused little sound. "Oh, no, it's not a...what you'd call a regular or normal herd I guess. Our leader is a mare, though she does have a mate now. She's named him as the lead stallion, but we have other stallions there. They even just accepted a gelding in. As well as a new mare and her filly, but yeah, there are like three or four other stallions there. In fact, one of them just arrived recently. He arrived first, then the gelding showed up as well as the mare and her filly." She then looked to the colt. She said "Oh, if you were a cougar or wolf, you'd be a cute little thing. You're right though...I should be more careful. Do you two want to go with me and meet the herd?" she asked.

It's fine, but Google also says wild foals don't get weaned until eight or nine months apparently, or if human management/whatever has them, they'd be weaned between four to six months. She's only three months, so she still needs to be nursing either way, and realistically a mare can't have two foals since...I think it's because they normally both can't be born, but also I don't believe there's enough milk for two foals. So you could make her mom too, otherwise...idk what to do unless Oriana and Cerik adopt her]
